I am always available via phone or email. There is (email hidden) in property Manager. I live on the next island over - so when I'm in town I'm happy to come over and meet you. You are also welcome to join my public yoga classes on Tuesday's and Friday's at 9:15 a.m. in the City of Belleair Beach, 444 Causeway Blvd, Belleair Beach, FL. $ 10.00 per person. Let me know you are joining us and I'll bring an extra yoga mat for you.
Clearwater Beach is an island surrounded by water - the Gulf of Mexico to the West and the Intercoastal to the East. Restaurants, bars, coffee shops and snack places are plentiful. I love being able to walk out the door of the unit and walk to a restaurant, bar, coffee place, the nightly Pier 60 Sunset Festival or simply the beach.
Clearwater Beach is very walkable. If you choose to drive, leave your car in the free parking spot at the Resort and utilize the many public transportation options including the Jolley Trolley, Florida Free Rides (golf carts - drivers work for tips), Pinellas County Public transportation system or a taxi. You may also rent a bicycle.
Paddleboards, kayaks, jet ski's are available to rent at nearby facilities.
overall a very good experience!
Cheryl is effective at communicating quickly and assisting with requests and plans on refinishing the bathroom so she cares about upkeep of this new rental property for her (as of November, 2013).
She was gracious to invite this fellow yoga teacher to one of her classes in nearby BelleAire.
Clear directions were given by both the owner and rental property manager (lives on site) for after hours checkin.
The view of the bay from this older! but well maintained resort was pleasant and gives an alternative to the beach crowd if you need/ want it. pool is heated. Other guests are very friendly and many have come year after year.
We only experienced two negatives, one was the wifi access. Was told Brighthouse was suppose to fix this but not. Mgr. Leslie gave alternative access option but it did not work on the IPad device. It did work most of the time for my son's laptop computer. Courtyard access was spotty too.
The other negative was the stove but I talked with Cheryl and she is aware and glad I told her.
Do plan on meeting Positive Jay at the nearby Island Vibz store. He can really play the maracas and drums! The beach is a close walk and so clean we walked barefoot often (not the norm for this farmer raised girl)!
Cheryl also had three massage referrals for us and we took her up on the closest one in Central Clearwater, Sue! Very reasonably priced and she enjoys what she does.
Oh if tight on $ dough and really only want the local culture and beach for your stay a taxi from the airport and use of the Jolly Trolley to the nearest Publix supermarket for $4.50 use all day is the way to go. Cheryl had most everything you could want to cook for yourselves and keep the food budget reasonable!
We may just book there again next year. Two can comfortably stay in the efficiency, there is possible but cozy.
Thanks, Carol! Brighthouse is working on the wifi issue and will re-wire the building before the end of April, 2014. Wifi is always available in the courtyard and at the pool. I appreciate the feed back on the large burner (only one temperature - high) as well as the gasket on the oven. I have the unit booked off from May (phone number hidden) a bathroom update and can work on the stove at that time. Thank you - Cheryl
This is a great little studio! Everything was perfect. Great location, bright, clean and it even smelled great. I would highly recommend this studio for rental, I didn't want to leave.
The location was perfect very close to the beach and great restaurants and bars. Cheryl was very helpful and easy to get a hold of whenever necessary. Andy (Resort Manager) was also very helpful. Although the wifi didn't work in the room, the bed wasn't the most comfortable and the bathroom was quite small our overall experience was great!
Excellent location. Bay on one side and the Gulf on the other. Very neat, clean and nicely decorated. Andy and Leslie were very friendly and a delight to deal with. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.
Cheryl was a great host, sorry we did not get to meet her personal. She really went out of her way to make sure things were perfect with our last minute plans. The place a really cozy little getaway tucked in close to all the great stuff in Clearwater. The pool was really nice. Very peaceful stay and just right for us. There were some problems with the wifi signals but the onsite management (very friendly) is aware and working on it. It was not a big deal but I know it can be for some. If important you should ask ahead, I am fairly sure they have it fixed by now.
