Beautiful location along the water! The comfy guest bed was great and the living room was spacious and comfortable to hang out in. Ashleigh left coffee and some goodies which were nice and the location of the place was perfect---an easy walk to town. Ashleigh met us and gave us a friendly welcome and tips on the area. Overall a great spot! We enjoyed watching the duck families with spring chicks swim by out the window!
Ashleigh met us right away and answered all of our questions. While initially a little disappointed that the apartment was on a busy highway on one side, this turned out to not be such a negative factor. That is, we couldn't hear the traffic noise and most windows are facing the scenic views so it's easy to forget about the highway.
We were able to pick up the canal path a couple of blocks down and it was an easy walk/bike ride into downtown Lambertville. We enjoyed biking on the canal path, going up to Bull Island and then crossing over to the PA side for the return ride. A stop in Stockton was perfect for a lunch and break.
The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Thanks, Ashleigh, for the welcome goodies and provisions! We hope to come back.
Ashleigh was very helpful with her recommendations and knowledge of the area. Her "Life on the River" home was beautiful, immaculate, and perfectly situated next to the Delaware river and Lambertville/New Hope. She was kind enough to leave us some food and drinks for our stay. We booked a day before we checked-in and Ashleigh couldn't have been more accommodating. We'd definitely recommend this to our friends, and we plan hope to come back soon in the summer.
Ashleigh was great! Her apartment overlooking the water was perfect for a weekend getaway! My boyfriend and I booked her place the last minute and she was responsive and accommodating.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ashleigh's apartment. The residence is the entire upstairs section and was even more spacious than we had expected. The entire place was very clean and organized, all amenities in good working order, and she graciously left us some kitchen edibles to use. The bed and couches were luxuriously comfortable and we loved how Ashleigh's styled the place.
The place is very well lit by many large windows, particularly in the living room, which has a gorgeous view onto the canal and Delaware River. One thing to note - if you are a light sleeper, be prepared for the sounds in the morning of the natural life that comes alongside a river (i.e., geese announcing the start of their day).
Ashleigh herself was very kind and approachable, flexible with our arrival and departure times, and nearby in case we needed her. She met us at the place when we arrived and was a wonderful host, answering any questions we had about the apartment and about activities to do in the area.
The apartment is very conveniently located. It was about 10 minutes to walk into the center of Lambertville, which meant we could leave the car and not have to worry about street meters (which seemed to occupy the minds of many of the other people in town).
All in all, Ashleigh was a wonderful host and the place exactly what we were looking for in our stay.

About the Host, Ashleigh
I recently moved back to the New Hope area after spending the last 4 years in Dublin, Ireland.
When not working, you can find me lazing about the many bars and restaurants in New Hope, Lambertville and Doylestown, running the back roads of Bucks County, or hanging with my cat, Weasel. She's not very smart but she loves people and killing stink bugs.
I travel a lot and I'm a little bit obsessed with AirBnB!
