Where you’ll be

Kensington, Prince Edward Island, Canada

Quiet waterside cottage country, surrounded by large grassy fields and the Darnley Basin leading to the Gulf of St. Lawrence.

Local Beaches and Attractions:
1) Darnley Basin Beach: Located on the “bayside” of Twin Shores, our Darnley Basin Beach is a perfect spot for beachcombing and exploring. Try your luck at clam digging on this beach for a true Prince Edward Island experience! Or take the kayaks out into the basin to find your secret haven.

2) Thunder Cove is one of the finest on the North Shore only 7 min away. Turn Right onto Route 20 from Reubens Lane. Turn Left onto Lower Darnley Road, pass Darnley Greens and turn Right onto Thunder Cove Road. Follow to the end-park and walk down the sand dunes to a magical beach. Feel the sand between your toes and swim in the crisp ocean waters. Sunbathe, swim, or just kick back and relax to the sounds of the waves. Don't forget to come back in the evening to catch that unforgettable Twin Shores sunset.

3) County Line Road Beach is a secret gem only 6 min away. Turn Right onto Route 20 from Reubens Lane. Drive 3.6km, take Left onto County Line Road (public dirt road) and follow to the end. Park your car and it’s a short walk to the beach. Same wonderful sand and sun as Thunder Cove, but less crowded.

4) Cabot Beach is only 8 min away. This beautiful park has a large day-use area with playground equipment, an activity centre with children's programs. There is also supervised swimming on scenic Malpeque Bay, and the historical Fanning School.

We love our Island, and while every part of it offers something unique we have chosen specific locations that truly highlight the authentic PEI experience. We own various rental properties on the island, and each of them has their own design, theme and ambience that is reflected in their location. Born and bred on PEI, and having a background with tourism and hospitality in Atlantic Canada, I can honestly say that PEI is a one-of-a-kind destination that should not be missed. I spend a fair amount of time travelling Eastern Canada for business, and know the challenges of being on the road. We strive to create a relaxed, quiet, family-friendly environment where life-long memories & relationships are created.
