Your Mountain Home Away From Home
This spacious and secluded retreat has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The full kitchen comes stocked with all the essentials — utensils, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, dishwasher, stove, oven, and two refrigerators for all your food and drinks. You’ll also find a washer and dryer for convenience.
The home offers three full bathrooms (one with a cozy tub) and three bedrooms, including one with a queen bed and hammock for laid-back lounging. Step outside to enjoy two scenic decks, a fire box for evening gatherings, and acres of peaceful land — perfect for soaking in the quiet and starry nights.
It’s an ideal base camp for hunters, anglers, and outdoor lovers, with nearby fishing, hiking, golfing, snowshoeing, and relaxing hot springs. Buena Vista is just 25 minutes away for shopping, dining, and local charm.
Whether you’re here to explore or simply unwind, you’ll love the comfort, space, and serenity this mountain getaway provides.

You’ll have full access to the entire house during your stay. While my work often takes me off the property, I’m usually nearby if you need anything. The home is designed for maximum privacy — I have my own private entrance and separate living area, so the main house is completely yours to enjoy. There’s also plenty of parking and storage space for your gear, vehicles, or outdoor equipment.
Other things to note
The nearest town, Hartsel, is just 10 minutes away and offers a great local restaurant and saloon to relax and grab a bite. Buena Vista is about 25 minutes from the house, with plenty of shopping, dining, hot springs, golf, and outdoor adventures — pretty much the whole shebang!
For a little excitement, head to Cripple Creek, about an hour and ten minutes away, a historic mountain gambling town full of fun and character.
This area is home to some of the best fishing in Colorado, featuring a private lake nearby and world-class spots like Eleven Mile, Spinney Mountain, and the legendary Dream Stream.

Neighborhood highlights
The house has a very quiet and secluded feel with no neighbors near by. Awesome views! It can get windy so come prepared for sudden weather changes. Hiking on property and nearby fishing in a private lake. You may also like to check out the white buffalo near by. Also horses, cattle, elk, deer, moose and all the animals. You will enjoy all the different types of activities in this beautiful area in the center of beautiful Colorado.

Love the outdoors, fly fishing is one of my favorites. There's so much to see and explore in this beautiful area. Love snowshoeing, horseback riding, hiking, skiing, bike riding and just hanging out outside, I'm 71 and try and stay active in the outdoors as much as I can do.
