Ás is a 130 years old totally renovated and charming cottage. The house is in a quiet place of the village in Eskifjörður just a few meters from Lambeyrará. This is the perfect place to stay if you want to enjoy and explore the magnificent nature and authentic daily life in the Eastfjords. Eskifjörður offers good service to tourists: A splendid outdoor swimmingpool at the roots of the mountain Hólmatindur, a grocery store, ATM, postoffice, healthcare, pharmacy, museums and a restaurant.

It's a small cozy cottage in an absolutely stunning town. The drive in is amazing, the overall location is amazing. The cabin is not the most up to date, but honestly that's the charm of it. Perfect stay for this area.

We had a wonderful relaxing time at the cottage. It has all the conveniences we needed, it was cute and very comfortable. It was nice to have three days to just enjoy some hiking and sightseeing close by.

This place was our favorite! We loved it so much. The only thing was that we wished it had a full or queen sized bed instead of two twin beds. But we made due and we were so very happy. We highly recommend this cabin to anyone

Thank you so much for your positive review, Annie. I fully understand that newlyweds would like one big bed instead of two single beds!

Cozy cottage from late 1800s in a quaint fjord town. Reminded us of summer cottages in Finland. Would absolutely stay again

The house is very sweet and comfortable. Nothing was missing. The area was not my favorite in Iceland but you can reach signed hiking trails with a car.
