bella struttura, ubicazione strategica, accoglienza calorosa e cena ottima.
consiglio la locanda senza remore
We stayed at Antica Locanda La Canonica for one night with friends who were traveling through Italy. We booked two rooms and had a wonderful stay. Monica was very prompt and helpful in communications leading to our stay. The location is a delightful, rustic one being in a small mountain town. We were greeted upon our arrival and promptly shown to our rooms. We ate dinner that evening on site and had an excellent meal. Although English was a bit rough, we all struggled through "2nd (or 3rd or 4th) languages" and had a good time and a delightful meal (helped by a couple bottles of vino). Breakfast was typical for the area and very good. Service in all areas was friendly and made one feel at home. A very nice rustic (no TV - what shall we do) and quiet get away that we would be glad to do again if the opportunity presents itself.
We have stayed at antica Locanda for only one night, but it has been wonderfull. It is quite a drive uphill, meanwhile enjoying the beautifull scenery. The atmosphere of the place is laid back and friendly. Good food at the restaurant. Hope to be back!
The agriturismo is nice and quiet, far from the cities. We had our first real rural Italian experience there and was far more than memorable. Although the hosts don't speak much of English we managed to communicate very well. I have to send special thanks to Angelo for going out of his way to help us when my dad locked the key in the car.
Rooms and the building are beautifully decorated and much suited to the surrounding area. We had dinner there for one night which was quite good. You definitely need a car to get there and move around. Finding it was not difficult with our GPS.
Perfect place for a quiet time. Very charming rooms.
Nicoletta is a lovely person and really cares about the wellbeing of her guests. Angelo cooks delicious meals typical of the Emiglia Romagna.
Right in front of the Locanda there are many hiking options, which we can really recommend.
All in all it was a pure revelation!
