If you love places that have character and history, this is it. If you don't mind narrow lanes and being a little off the beaten track, this is it. If you are looking for comfort, great hospitality and a great breakfast, this is it.

We had a great stay in this lovely farmhouse. The location is great (as long as you're driving) and it's a good base from which to explore the surrounding area, which is beautiful. Gill was an excellent host - very easy-going about our arrival time and then set us up with a cosy fire, cake and tea which was just what we needed after a long winter walk. She was then very helpful with making sure we knew what was in the area and about dinner options - including laminated info sheets on everything you could possibly want to know. It's also a really nice setup - there's basically a whole wing of the house to yourself (the tiled area in the pictures) so it really makes it feel like a separate cottage rather than just a private room. We'd definitely come back.

The setting and the house was beautiful and quiet. As a host, Gill couldn’t do enough to help and her breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Thank you!

Staying at Gills house was lovely. The farm is in a fantastic location. We wanted to 'escape' London for the weekend and we definitely made the right choice. Gill was friendly, hospitable and really helpful in giving local tips. The coffee cake and breakfast were fantastic, she is a fantastic cook and we were well rested, fed and watered when we left on the Sunday morning. Would definitely love to come and stay again.

I love living in the countryside - it's so quiet and yet really close to Guildford & London. I grow my own vegetables - last year spinach, beans, artichokes, beetroots, carrots; I'm going to make the veg. patch even bigger this year. I'm usually really busy making beds, cleaning etc. - we have quite a few different places to stay on the farm. Relaxation is a walk across the heath to the local pub for a catch up or just chilling out with one of my 4 lovely daughters!
