You have sole access to the entire third floor apartment, shared huge front porch, and coin operated washer and dryer in basement ($1.25/load in quarters - I've left some quarters for a couple of loads). Again, this apartment is ONLY used for Airbnb, so no one else's clothes are in the drawers or closets :)
Interaction with Guests
I or my representative will give you keys and show you in. I'll be available by email throughout your stay with any questions or concerns you might have. I have my own business so I may at times be unavailable in the short term, but I will respond as quickly as possible. I'm happy to give you tips on places to see, restaurants, etc. based on your interests.
I love this neighborhood because it's close to so many fun things to do. It is culturally diverse, and at the same time a calm residential neighborhood in the City.
There are several bus lines within a few blocks of the house that will take you anywhere the Port Authority goes - very convenient to the East End and downtown Pittsburgh. Uber, Lyft and Zipcars are all operating in Pittsburgh, and make getting around easy!
Other Things to Note
My check-in and check-out times may be flexible depending on other guests coming in or leaving.
There is a full-sized ironing board and iron, and a supply of laundry detergent for coin-operated laundry in basement of house (access around the back of the house).
Free, non-permit on-street parking is readily available.
Please enjoy this apartment, and treat it with respect, as you would your own home. This is not a good choice for those wanting to have loud parties. Pets and smoking are prohibited in the apartment.
We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for My sons graduation. We were meet
My Tamie and given a great introduction to the home. Everything was neat and tidy and welcoming. We enjoyed relaxing after our busy activities and spending time with film and friends celebrating a great life event.
The host welcomed us to explain the property, local restaurants and attractions we may enjoy. The cozy apartment was bright, clean, and newly updated - as shown in the pictures. The "up and coming" neighborhood is being revitalized. We appreciated the extra touches that made us feel at home. Our first experience with airbnb will encourage us to try again.
Victoria was accessible, friendly and accommodating for our group. We didn't spend a ton of time at the apartment but when we did it was comfortable. You can be in the heart of the city in 15 minutes and cabs/übers we readily available. We loved our stay!
Victoria's apartment was perfect! It was immaculate, comfortable, charming and really convenient. We never had a problem getting a parking space on the street. Victoria was very responsive and great to work with. She was even gracious enough to let us keep our bikes in the basement for the weekend. I highly recommend this property, you will not be disappointed.
This was my first time traveling Pittsburgh, and this was the perfect place to stay during my weekend visit. I was staying with five friends and the apartment met and exceeded our needs! There was plenty of space, storage and of course a great kitchen! We really felt at home. There were many great amenities that we took advantage of, like the Keurig coffee machine and a reliable and fast WiFi connection. Victoria was very friendly and warm, and always made it a point to respond to all our questions (and since it was our first time in Pittsburgh, there were many!) and greeted us when we arrived to show us around the place. Whenever I find myself in town again, I will definitely see if Victoria has any vacancies during my travels! Would highly recommend.
Victoria is delightful. Check-in and check-out could not have been any easier.
The apartment was clean, welcoming and very comfortable. Victoria stocked the apartment with tons of decorative pieces and the kitchen with any condiment you might want.
My mother and I enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again. Thanks Victoria for being a Super Host!
We had a lovely time and really appreciated the clean, bright apartment. It was cheerful and comfortable. The neighborhood in the East Liberty section of Pittsburgh led us past lots of cool looking houses & business districts as we made our way back and forth to the city center where the friend we were visiting lived. A short drive from 10 to 20 minutes, depending where we were headed.
