The apartment was in a fantastic neighborhood and Lisa was incredibly accommodating. The apartment was very large and well supplied. But do be aware it is a garden apartment so the apartment is very dark (and a little cold), and the family living above can make it quite loud, especially early in the morning. But ear plugs took care of that for me!
The apartment was lovely! Lisa was amazing at helping us with everything when we got it..including finding a cable package with my husband's favorite EPL soccer team's games at 4am! The place was very spacious and was perfect for my work at the Orpheum Theatre. The bus was steps from the front door and the walk was quick as well! I will say that you hear pretty much everything from the neighbors above, especially if they have a dog who barks at the mailman at 10am daily :) But overall it was a great stay!
We have enjoyed every day of our month spent in Lisa's apartment in Hayes Valley. The location is superb, close to shopping, nice café and restaurants, excellent transportation to anywhere in the city and to/from airport. Being music fans we have particularly enjoyed the walking distance to the symphony hall and opera house!
The home is spacious, clean and well appointed with everything we needed. Lisa has been an extremely helpful yet very discrete host, we had a small problem with cable TV and she was able to get it fixed very quickly.
A personal tip: I rented a road bike and it was an excellent way to move around in the city and in the beutiful surroundings across the Golden Gate bridge and around the Bay.
Even that I saw Lisa just once and briefly, she was very nice and everything went smoothly. Checking in was easy and communication worked brilliantly. The place itself was spacious with all needed amenities - even own little backyard. The location was just great. Hayes Valley is nice neighborhood and going around the city was easily either walking or by public transportation. e.g. You can access to Union Square within 15-20mins with Muni 21 almost door to door. I would absolutely recommend this when visiting San Francisco.
This is a very nice apartment in the Hayes valley area of San Francisco. The accommodations were very nice and Lisa was extremely Attentive to all our needs. My wife and I have every intention of reusing Lisa's services at her apartment.
This apartment, neighborhood and owner are Excellent! The apartment is spacious, very clean and well-equipped. Lisa has thought of everything. She is attentive and friendly, but unobtrusive. A clean, non-crowded, owner-attended laundromat is less than a block away and Lisa provides a cart and hamper. Recycling, trash and composting are all very handy and green. The bedding and towels were nice quality and plentiful. Kitchen is gorgeous with a gas stove and dishwasher. Location is less than a block from a major MUNI bus stop and easy walking distance from the opera, ballet and city hall and other major bus lines. Plenty of great restaurants and cafes in the neighborhood and only 4 or 5 blocks to a major grocery store. If you have kids, there is a very sweet, well-maintained park for the little ones just steps away. We couldn't have been more pleased with this rental.
The place has a password lock and we did check-in around 4:00AM so it was very convenient, we just had to use the password provided by Lisa days before our arrival.
The place had everything my wife and I needed for the 30 days period we spent there, even small things that some apartments don't include like soaps, toilet paper, paper towels, etc.
Since the apartment is kinda like the basement of the house, we had noise issues eventually.
Overall great place, recommended!
We had a wonderful month here! It was very clean, comfortable and felt like home. Hayes Valley is such a fun neighborhood, lots of great restaurants and shopping. Riding the Muni or a bus to anywhere in the city is easy. When we had questions Lisa was very responsive. We can't wait to come back!
The apartment was exactly what was promised. It was well-located, comfortable and had all that we needed for a stay of a month. We only had to ask Lisa for assistance on one occasion with regard to the TV cable service, but she was immediately available and promptly resolved the problem. Overall, we were very pleased.
I enjoyed my stay in this quaint Victorian. From the day I arrived, to the day I checked out, Lisa was available to answer any questions. The space was great, and the location was perfect. I did struggle a little bit with parking because at the end of each day, I had to drive here and drive around until I found a space. Sometimes it was right in front, sometimes it was up to three blocks away. But that is because the Hayes Valley is concentrated, and lots of people like to hang hang out here to go to dinner or shopping in all the cool (yet expensive) stores in the area. If you like a happening spot, staying at Lisa's will situate you in the middle of it.
