Afgan and his mother are a home away from home. They took me in like family, and I would trust them completely. We had terrific home-made meals, and Afgan went way out of his way to help by picking me up late at night, and showing us all over the city. I would to see him and his Mom again!

Perhaps the best Airbnb experience ever! Afgan and his family are incredibly hospitable, friendly and welcoming. The whole experience from beginning to end was such a pleasure. From sightseeing to meals to washing clothes, nothing was ever any trouble. The kind of people you are just happy to be around! I highly recommend staying with Afgan. It will be a highlight for your trip to Azerbaijan!

Afgan and his whole family were such wonderful hosts. Afgan's brother (Arzu) and their mother were at home when we arrived (around 5pm) and showed us our room (just like the pictures). We stayed for 3 nights. With one night being in Qazax. Afgan is quite laid back and is very informative if you have any questions about your trip. He showed us around the city after we had dinner. We spent the weekend in Qazax. Such a great local experience for our trip in Azerbaijan. With food, we were always full! His mother is such a great cook! Don't need to worry about food, fruits, and endless tea. The bus station is outside the city. Best to take a taxi to the house if not keen on walking. Afgan took us to the bus station the day we check out and made sure we got on the bus to Tbilisi. Communication was great, Afgan will always reply quick. We highly recommended this place especially if you want to make Ganja your quick stop before the next destination. Thank you again, Afgan and family! It has been a great pleasure. Best wishes from us both.

Afgann and his family are friends welcomed me into their home and country with open arms. The hospitality was first class and Afgann (and Arzu) was always on hand for advice and recommendations and was happy to offer himself and his car to show me around the city and beyond. An experience that is hard to beat in terms of experiencing the culture and feeling like you are at home; the Azerbaijani hospitality is definitely hard to beat. Their home is comfortable and warm and friendly as are all the people I met on my travels; not only that but Afganns mother is extremely attentive serving up delicious homemade food and an endless supply of Tea. I would recommend Afganns Airbnb without hesitation.

Afgan is an amazing host. Afgan kindly collected me from the airport in arrival and brought me back to his house where his mother provided us with a delicious meal and I got to taste some delicious local wine. After lunch Afgan kindly showed me around Ganja and took me on a trip to the countryside to visit the very lovely Goygol Lake, a lovely Alban temple and the German town of Helendorf(Göygöl). We also stopped off for delicious refreshing apple juice in Ganja. Afgan is a fluent English speaker who is an amazing guide. He is a very warm and friendly person who did his best to make my stay an amazing one. On my second day Afgan brought me on a day trip to Sheki and Kish. On the way we visited the Nizmadi tomb before proceeding to Sheki and and Kish where we visited the many sights there. On return Afgan's mother had again prepared a delicious Azerbaijani meal for us. As I left on the midnight bus Afgan and his family kindly drove me to the bus and helped me organise a bus ticket. I have travelled to many countries all over the world but Afgan's kindness is unsurpassed. What an amazing experience. Thank you Afgann and family.

Strongly recommend this place. I really enjoyed this homestay experience so much. Afgan is a very special host providing instructions to the city of Ganja with interesting insights, and I assume everybody would enjoy talking with him if you are interested in the tourism, history, politics, society of this country. I also would like to again thank Afgan and his parents (especially his mother who always be ready for preparing amazing local food), for their inexhaustibly enthusiastic and most skilled hospitality. Furthermore, Afgan will also be greatly helpful if you got a plan of crossing the border between Azerbaijan and Georgia.
