Adorable Cottage w/ Fenced Yard

House - Entire home/apt · Florida Street, San Francisco, CA 94110, United States

The Space

Amazing turn of the century cottage located in the Mission district of San Francisco. Two bedrooms, living room, large kitchen and fenced backyard perfect for your furry friend. The living room is large and connected to a dining area which is great for entertaining. This cottage is located within walking distance of some of the best restaurants in San Francisco (Flour + Water is 2 blocks away, Universal Cafe is literally across the street, and some of the best Mexican food restaurants in the Bay Area are around every corner). Parking is plentiful in this neighborhood and 9 times out of 10 you can park directly in front of the house on nights and weekends. The house is well appointed with a queen bed in the master bedroom and a full sofa bed in the second bedroom along with a crib. There's cable, apple tv with HBO Go and Netflix accounts, wireless internet, and a well equipped kitchen. This house is located about 20 minutes from San Francisco International Airport by car and is also about 7 blocks from the Mission St BART Station for carless visitors. The Mission is the sunniest area of San Francisco so even if the rest of the city is shrouded in fog, there's usually sunshine in this neighborhood. Washer and drier in the cottage.

  • We had a great stay at Kelsey's place! Really lovely, super clean home, great location with some really good restaurants very close by. There was a closed in yard for our dog - even a doggy door so he could get in and out at times when we had to leave him at the house during our outing. It was the perfect spot for us. Thanks Kelsey!

  • Kelsey was kind enough to walk this Luddite through the cable remote issues i was having at 10:00 at night on Sunday on her vacation. Left me a ton of booze which i didn't touch (except one glass of Makers). The house was clean, comfortable. Great kitchen and bathroom and a 5 block walk from my home office. Wish i could stay there every time I was in town.

  • We enjoy our stay at Kelsey place with two kids. . Great kitchen, great location, delicious restaurants nearby. Most of the days we found parking really quick. I definitely would say there again.

  • The house of Kelsey was very charming, plain, simple and very fine! Situated in the most beautyful and coolest district Mission with very good restaurants, bars and coffee shops. We loved Central Kitchen and the Universal Café... We where ther for a business trip and would defitetely come a second time - but then privately... Thanks a lot for hosting us!

  • Kelsey was a great person to rent from. Meeting at the house to get the key was an easy process and Kelsey was very accommodating when we weren't sure of the exact time we could be there, and was o.k. with our last minute messages.

The house is very comfortable and easy to live in. We felt immediately at home. The location is wonderful and the neighborhood is quiet at night. We felt very safe walking around at night also. There are great restaurants nearby, as well as grocery stores, coffee shops, and other necessities.

Getting a taxi in San Francisco is always a challenge (especially on weekends), and because this house is not downtown, just be aware to call in plenty of time before your event, as it took about a half hour or more most of the time (maybe it was the company we were using?)

Parking is available here, which is not always the case in other areas of San Francisco. You just have to periodically move your car depending on which side of the surrounding streets are being cleaned on various nights. But once you get that dialed in, it's not a problem.

We would definitely stay at Kelsey's home again if we need a two bedroom. I would highly recommend the house, and Kelsey! " - ))

  • I felt completely comfortable and at home the minute I walked into the cottage. I could not have asked for a more accommodating host. The home was light and airy, and everything I could have wanted. Parking was a bit more problematic then expected, but workable. All in all, a very enjoyable experience.

  • Our family had a wonderful stay at the little cottage. Our daughter ,son n law & granddaughter Iive in the mission so the location was perfect for them to visit. We had our other two sons with us so it was very much a family affair and the cottage was just wonderful for our family gatherings.
We would rent this little cottage again!

  • My wide and I came to San Francisco with our dog to visit some friends and go to a wedding. My brother, his girlfriend, a friend joined us at this cottage. We were all in agreement that it was the best place we could have stayed. Central to where we needed to be cozy, comfortable, clean. We ate breakfast across the street at universal cafe both Saturday and Sunday because it was so good. The cottage had plenty of parking over the weekend and we felt very safe in the neighbor hood. Walking distance to the mission and shopping/ restaurants was ideal as well. We would all definatly stay here again and are planning on it!!!

  • We just returned from a three night stay here and had a wonderful time! We visited my daughter who also lives in the Mission so we were slightly familiar with the area. We were initially a little nervous about staying in the Mission and with the parking situation but were pleasantly surprised by how comfortable it was and that we NEVER had to search for parking! Parked right in front of the house all three days! The cottage is simply adorable and my family of five were very comfortable sleeping here. We brought our Sheltie with us and it was perfect for him to have a little yard and enclosed kitchen area with a gate and doggie door for when we went out and about without him. We arrived a few days before Christmas and were surprised to find a beautiful tree and outside lights to complete our holiday home away from home. I highly recommend this wonderful rental!!
