About This Listing
Amazing turn of the century cottage located in the Mission district of San Francisco. Two bedrooms, living room, large kitchen and fenced backyard perfect for your furry friend. The living room is large and connected to a dining area which is great for entertaining. This cottage is located within walking distance of some of the best restaurants in San Francisco (Flour + Water is 2 blocks away, Universal Cafe is literally across the street, and some of the best Mexican food restaurants in the Bay Area are around every corner). Parking is plentiful in this neighborhood and 9 times out of 10 you can park directly in front of the house on nights and weekends. The house is well appointed with a queen bed in the master bedroom and a full sofa bed in the second bedroom along with a crib. There's cable, apple tv with HBO Go and Netflix accounts, wireless internet, and a well equipped kitchen. This house is located about 20 minutes from San Francisco International Airport by car and is also about 7 blocks from the Mission St BART Station for carless visitors. The Mission is the sunniest area of San Francisco so even if the rest of the city is shrouded in fog, there's usually sunshine in this neighborhood. Washer and drier in the cottage.
Access to entire house.

Kelsey was super friendly and responsive. The location was very convenient and the bed was nice and comfortable. There was a dinging bell that seemed to go off all the time, but I think it was related to a car going in/out of a nearby garage, so not much could be done about it. Playing some music helped.
We had a great stay. Super convenient and walkable neighborhood. Lots of space in the cottage and washer & dryer were a plus for traveling w/ a baby. Parking was no problem on the street. Access to good food and coffee w/in a 1 block radius.
Email info was all great, arrivals no problems.
The place is in an awesome neighbourhood, and everything in the home worked and was clean etc.
Great neighborhood with wonderful restaurants. Kelsey gives great restaurant recommendations. Cute house has all the amenities.
My coworker and I had to spend 2 weeks in SF for a recent work project, and Kelsey's cottage was a very welcome alternative to spending 2 weeks in hotel rooms. What a nice change to use a large kitchen and full-size refrigerator on a business trip! Because of work, we also had to have a car -- not my preferred way to get around San Francisco -- but we were able to find street parking each night. Kelsey was a good host and very responsive to our requests. And it's a great neighborhood, with a nice variety of restaurants within 3 blocks and a short walk to Mission, Valencia, or even Potrero Hill. I would definitely stay here again.
We've been to San Francisco a number of times, but always stayed in hotels downtown. This was our first trip with our four-month-old son and first time using Airbnb. Kelsey was prompt and friendly with her responses and incredibly accommodating as we ended up needing to find a place on 24 hours notice (long story). The place was charming, inviting and really felt like home. We also fell in love with the neighborhood — so many fantastic places to eat within a few minutes' walk, yet the location itself was safe and quiet. I would recommend this to anyone traveling with children, pets or who wants to get a more authentic San Francisco experience. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
