DESERT MADRE MODERNO AT TANQUE VERDE Wonderful contemporary living in the heart of the Sonoran Desert. The house has it all- big outdoor pool and spa. Great views of the Catalina Mountains and lots of quiet. The three bedroom home can sleep 6 comfortably with plenty of places to hang. Curl up by the fireplace with a good book or go hiking or biking right out the front door. Afterwards soak in the spa or take in a game on the big screen TV.
Rates are based on two people, ask about rates for three or more.

Wonderful neighbors, kids actually playing outside-how often do you see that? Very quiet yard with views of the desert and the mountains. House has all of the creature comforts of home.
A car is advisable, nearest bus stop is 4 miles away in Tanque Verde.

Wireless internet, cable TV, plenty places inside and out just to relax and enjoy your vacation as you always imagine.
1.Smoking is NOT allowed house. Smoking is allowed outside house.
2.Only paying guests are allowed to stay over night, if you have additional guests please let us know.
3.The Homeowners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
4.Keep the property and all furnishings in good order. If damaged, guests shall notify the Homeowners immediately.
5. Only use appliances for their intended uses only. PLEASE TURN OFF CEILING FANS AND LIGHTS WHEN LEAVING RESIDENCE-FANS COOL SKIN, NOT AIR. This helps us keep fees down, otherwise, if utility bills are high, we have to raise rates.
6.PETS are permitted only with prior approval and the Pet Addendum must be completed. Fee for pets $10 per day per pet.
7.Parking: Vehicles are to be parked in garage or driveway only. Parking on the road is not permitted. Any illegally parked cars are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.
8.Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit white towels or linens to be taken from the units for use outdoors. Beach towels are provided for your use outdoors. Daily or weekly maid service is available. Please contact us for rates.
9.Fireplace: The fireplace is operational. We charge $40 to clean the fireplace should you use it. Fee will recouped from damage deposit. We do not provide firewood. Please do not scavenge the neighborhood for wood to burn. It can be purchased at the neighborhood Safeway in Tanque Verde.
10.Water and Septic: The property is on public water and onsite septic system. The mineral content in the water is high. The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. No feminine products should be flushed at anytime. If it is found that feminine products or other items have been flushed and clog the septic system, you could be charged damages of up to $500.
11.Pool and Spa: use is at renters own risk. Typical use of the pool without heating is April to November. All children and pets shall be supervised at all times while on the premises and especially around the pool and spa-NO EXCEPTIONS. No children in diapers or pets are allowed in the pool or spa. No floating candles in pool are allowed. Only adults and children over 12 allowed in the spa. If a renter is found to break these rules the damage/cleaning deposit is forfeited.
12.The property. This property is intended for relaxed vacation use only. Activities such as parties, group meetings, conferences, workshops, making records, filming movies, or other activities other than normal quiet vacation type activities HAVE TO BE APPROVED BY OWNERS BEFORE SIGNING OF RENTAL AGREEMENT. Failure to get Owners approval before signing of rental agreement will result in immediate eviction, forfeit of cleaning/damage/loss deposit along with other fees to clean and repair damage and are due immediately. Our zoning does not allow parties or large group activities. No littering on property is allowed at any time. Please clean up after yourself and guests.
(website hidden). No interior furniture is to be moved outdoors. Outdoor furniture must remain within the confines of the walls surrounding the pool area. Please return all outside furniture where you found it at the end of your rental period.
14.Garbage. We take care of garbage. Typically we will pick up when we are out to clean the pool and spa (usually on the weekend).
The photos and listing are accurate and represent features of the house well. The location is great for quick access to Mount Lemmon. The "property management" contact was very accommodating to meet us on arrival to review the location.
The rental price does NOT include the cost to heat the pool or hot tub, which was not previously mentioned in the rental details. The cost was $40 per day above the already negotiated and paid rate for the house, making the rental more expensive than staying in hotel.
House is spacious with nice pool and spa. We had a nice time at he house.

We had a great time at the house and found everything to be as viewed on the website. The photos were accurate and the host was available by phone for any concerns. It was a great stay and I would definitely use airbnb again for any upcoming trips. We especially enjoyed staying together as a family which was so much nicer than a bunch of hotel rooms.
We had such at great time we extended our stay for 3 more days. Carla was very easy to deal with and responded promptly to all of our emails. The house is a dream and we only wished we had another couple to share it with us!
