About This Listing
This is the master BR in a 2 bedroom unit. It has high (pitched) ceilings and a private bathroom which has some remodeling to be done but is fully functional. The other bedroom is occupied by me.
If you are going to ask for a discount, please state specifically how much and have something to offer in return.
II generally cannot accommodate parties of 2 for more than a couple of days and there is a surcharge for each extra person (35). Typically I don't do long term stays (more than a few weeks) because it doesn't usually benefit me financially
I'm currently fostering two rabbits so please keep that in mind.
In addition to the typical items, the kitchen has an Excalibur dehydrator, a Greenstar & Champion juicer, and a VitaMix blender. There is also a washer and dryer (laundry) in the unit.
Within walking distance are 3 different Whole Foods markets, the Co-op Natural Foods, as well as a US Post Office and UPS. The beach and 3rd St Promenade are less than a mile away. Venice is a bit further. The Getty museum is not far (near UCLA). Check out the neighborhood map below.
BigBlueBus is an excellent system. I can provide a permit for street parking which is required at all times. Finding a spot sometimes requires patience late at night.
I am a straight male. It's not important to me what you are.
Please don't have any expectations about the kind of person I am.

I had a great time staying at Calvin's place. He is a really friendly person, and he was always available in case I needed anything, but without being intrusive in any way. His place is nice and as described, the bunnies are cute, and the neighborhood is great. Highly recommended!
Calvin was very kind and easy to communicate with, even if we book the room in last minute.
The room was still in renovation but already beautiful, and very confortable. The neighborhood is safe and you are closed to Santa Monica Pier and the 3rd Promenade (15/20 minutes by walk approx).
Calvin was great - really accommodating and the house was in a terrific location, just a short walk from the beach and shopping areas.

Undergrad degree in English, started graduate studies in Architecture but never finished. I used to work in print graphics. Currently finishing paralegal studies.
