Master BR Santa Monica townhome

Apartment - Private room · Euclid St, Santa Monica, CA 90404, United States

The Space

This is the master bedroom in a 2 bedroom unit. It has a private bathroom which has some remodeling to be done but is fully functional. The other bedroom is occupied by me.

I've recently begun foster caring for two rabbits so please keep that in mind.

I generally cannot accommodate parties of 2 for more than a couple of days and there is a surcharge for each extra person (30).

If you are going to ask for a discount, please have something to offer something in return.

Guest Access

In addition to the typical items, the kitchen has an Excalibur dehydrator, a Greenstar & Champion juicer, and a VitaMix blender. There is also a laundry machine in the unit.

The Neighborhood

Within walking distance are 3 different Whole Foods markets, the Co-op Natural Foods, as well as a US Post Office and UPS. The beach and 3rd St Promenade are less than a mile away. Venice is a bit further. The Getty museum is not far (near UCLA).

Getting around

BigBlueBus is an excellent system. I can provide permits for street parking though finding a spot can be a bit challenging late at night.

  • Calvin is a friendly and non-intrusive host. He was very accommodating, and took great care to ensure my stay was comfortable and pleasant. I really enjoyed my stay with him, and I wouldn't hesitate to book his place again!

  • I had a great stay at Calvin's, a nice and helpful guy
Great location, a block from the shops, restaurants and only minutes to the promenade. A non-expensive option in Santa Monica.

  • Great location. Very Convenient. Close to shops and the beach.
There are bus stops around with buses that can take you to most places of Santa Monica.
Calvin is also really laid-back and helpful.
    Overall great experience

  • Calvin is a very nice host, kinda laid back and friendly. The neighborhood was great, although the parking was a bit tough. His place is close to great shopping and not too far from the beach.

  • Calvin is an incredibly nice, laid-back guy and his place was perfect for my 3-day stay in Santa Monica. When I arrived in Los Angeles I didn't have a place to stay; Calvin was kind enough to accommodate me at the last minute.

The bed in the master bedroom was amazing, the location of his apartment in Santa Monica was truly ideal and the parking (with the permits he gave me) worked out great.

    Thanks, Calvin!

  • Calvin was a fantastic host. He was always helpful and friendly during my stay with him and I really was glad with my choice in staying at his place. The room was spacious, quiet, and even had its own bathroom. The bed was extra comfy, too!

  • Calvin's place was peaceful, comfortable, functional -- and interesting!. It is bare bones and under construction, but there was everything I needed. It;s close to public transportation and you can walk you all the shops. Calvin is great to talk to if you want to talk, and he also gives you space if that's what you need. I was able to keep food in the refrig and use the w/d as well.

  • Calvin's a great, eclectic spirit, and the place is a nice value. There are some loose ends, exposed wiring in the bathroom and that sort of thing, but hey -- wifi is awesome, it's clean, it's a great location, and Calvin's cool!

  • Calvin was great! Slipped right in late on Monday night and had no problems. Luckily Calvin gave me a parking pass for my car so I could put it wherever was open. Had some tight squeezes due to it being Santa Monica but overall not too bad at all. Bed was nice, it got hot in the room but kept all my doors open to try and cool off. There are some rabbits in the living room but they are fenced off and not allowed to run everywhere. Overall great time experiencing something new. Will definitely do again if ever the time comes. Calvin was a very friendly guy and great host. Thanks again Calvin!

  • My son (18 yrs) needed a place to stay until his student housing opened up for the fall semester and Calvin was a great host for him. My son reports that Calvin was welcoming, easy-going, helpful and accommodating. He also let my son keep his belongings there for an extra day when there was a scheduling glitch with the movers. We were very grateful for his hospitality for our son.
