We had a great six week stay in Jeremy's apartment. Split on two levels, with an outside terrace, there is plenty of room. Everything you could need is near by and it is a short walk to Kings Cross mainline station. We would have no hesitation in staying again.
A great stay. Everything was as expected. Would recommend Jeremy's apartment to friends travelling to the UK. We found the location to be handy to all the sights. Angel and Kings Cross tubes to be in easy walks.
Excellent flat & location - very helpful & smooth entry, even though Jeremy could not be there. Highly recommend!
Jeremy's apartment is fantastic and he is a kind and generous host. The garden terrace that he has created is extraordinary, like a tuscan courtyard transported to the heart of London, the interior of the apartment is beautiful, relaxing, full of light and practically appointed as well. The bathtub is wonderful (lit from above with a big skylight) and the bed is large and comfortable. The location is great, many restaurants and shops nearby (check out the restaurant Modern Pantry).
We were sad to leave and hope to come back some day! Thanks Jeremy! Dana and Bill
I stayed for two weeks. The apartment was clean and nicely furnished. Location was perfect and it was very convenient to shops, supermarkets, the Angel tube station and some great restaurants in Islington. Jeremy was very helpful when I first arrived, showing me the various features of the apartment. Great place to stay in London and would definitely recommend to others.
This was our first time using AirBNB and we couldn't have gotten luckier by having Jeremy as our host. He made the experience like staying with a long-time friend. From the moment of our arrival, everything was perfect. Jeremy helped us with our bags, made us a cup of tea and made us feel at home chatting with us. He gave us a thorough tour and description of his flat and it was even better than the online pictures.
The two stories were perfect. On the ground floor, the kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to prepare anything. The washer was convenient and easy to use. Jeremy even has a central control for the radiator heating system throughout the house. The outdoor deck was very large giving a great view of the area. We ate outside every morning looking at St. Paul's. The upper floor was perfect. The bed was large and exceptionally comfortable, with down pillows and comforter. The bathroom even had two separate sinks, perfect for a married couple. I particularly enjoyed the luxurious bathtub.
Very modern and well appointed, with all the conveniences of home. The entire flat was wired with a sound-system, his TV/cable was state-of-the-art, and the internet (a requirement for us) had a perfect connection. (Jeremy even (email hidden) electrical converter for our laptop!) Everything worked well, and Jeremy was thorough in his instructions on how to do everything in his flat.
Ideally located. Shopping districts all around. Terrific local restaurants. Convenient public transport, which we used every day. Access by tube to both Angel (the closer one for daily use) and St. Pancras (International, from which we departed by the Eurostar). By bus, the stop was right around the corner. Well situated for access all around London.
Overall, the flat was fantastic and Jeremy made our stay perfect. We stayed for a full week and couldn't have asked for anythign more. I could continue to rave, but you get the idea. I highly recommend this flat and would stay there again without hesitation on our next trip to London.
Thanks again for everything, Jeremy! --David and Wendy
Renting Jeremy's flat was our first experience of Airbnb. It could not have been more perfect. And Jeremy himself was so helpful and considerate and generally amazing.
Jeremy's place was my first experience with airbnb and my husband and I were really happy with it. We stayed for a month and it was great-- his apartment is exactly as described. His home is spacious with a great deck and there were clear instructions on how to use everything in his home. The location of the apartment was extremely convenient-- just a very short walk to Angel station, grocery stores and restaurants. My dog loved the dog park down the block as well.
I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and family, Jeremy is a great host!
Jeremy was the perfect host: friendly, helpful and considerate, leaving clearly expressed notes on how things work. Sometimes photos on a website can make a place look better that it proves to be on inspection, but in this case the images don’t do it justice. It’s a stylishly modern adaptation of a Georgian building, wired for sound in every room, very light, private, comfortable and relaxing, a haven from the busyness of London and situated in a quiet street, incredibly well located walking distance from three tube stations and from the City. The deck garden is a little paradise and the bedroom view of St Paul’s, the Shard, the Tate Modern and the many moods of London skies, is magical. The coffee at the corner deli is good, but is even better at Caravan Café in nearby Exmouth Market. We couldn't recommend this place highly enough.
Jeremy's home is a gem. We couldn't have asked for a more comfortable and beautiful place to stay during our time in London. I will highly recommend Jeremy's Airbnb to friends or family visiting London in the future.
