A stunning, spacious, newly refurbished, one double bedroom (super king size bed [with amazing Visprung matress!]) period conversion, arranged over the top two floors of a Georgian town house with a large south facing roof terrace and great views of St Pauls Cathedral, the "Shard" and as far as the Tate Modern. It is situated in a quiet street in the historical River conservation area in Clerkenwell,one minute from Sadlers Wells Theatre. Angel tube station is four minutes walk away ,Kings cross and St Pancreas are eight minutes walk away and all bus links are just two minutes walk. The restaurants and Bars of trendy Exmouth market are two minutes down the road, with the high street of Upper street four minutes away, the British museum and the West end are with in easy walking distance.
The price is all inclusive, amenities include wifi, all cooking utensils,bedding and towels, washing machine, dishwasher, plasma TV with Satelite and DVD/CD player all connected to a high quality sound system which is piped through out the property.
I am the owner of the property, this is my home when I am in London.

RIVER STREET INFORMATION.
Apologies for the rather in depth information bellow, but I figured it might be useful for you to reference things if you needed/wished to.
Recycling goes into the green box which I keep on top of the washing machine in the long corner cupboard in the kitchen. All none recycling waste goes in the 2 small bins underneath the sink, when they are full put them in a big (grey) bin bag and put it in the bin outside on the roof terrace which is situated inside the large wooden box in the corner of the roof terrace.
- both the non recycling and the recycling are collected early on Friday morning so please put both out on THURSDAY EVENING. Leave the green box on the step outside the front door and the big grey bin bag by the tree!
Room by room:
Please do check out the cupboards and draws etc so you can sus out where everything is. I have attempted to put all the most frequently used cooking things near to hand, but as I don’t cook my cunning logic may be a tad off!
I have left you one shelf for your own food stuffs in the corner wall cupboard and 2 shelves in the lower right hand cupboard.
Most things are self explanatory but here are a few things that may not be:
I do not have a kettle, instead I have my favorite kitchen gadget a boiling water tap, to use push the handle down and then turn. I know its stating the blinking obvious but it really is 100 degrees (boiling) hot so be careful! If you are making tea (you are in England after all!) let the tap run for a few seconds until it starts to ‘spit’ which means it is at boiling point. Use it for boiling pans of pasta etc in fact anytime u need boiling water.
The sink disposal is for all organic waste EXCEPT: anything fibrous e.g: corn on the cob, artichokes, bones (u can put the very smallest ones down) and obviously extract any cutlery etc that may fall down. FYI it does NOT have scary razor sharp rotating blades! It uses centrifuge and a grinding mechanism (hence the problem with fibrous stuff) so don’t freak out about losing a finger!! Always run the water tap when you use the sink disposal.
All cleaning things (and rubbish bins) are under the sink including dishwasher tabs, hand soap and washing up spunges etc which are on the small shelf at the top.
Anything that will not go in the dish washer can be left to dry in the rack inside the top right hand cupboard next to the sink (I’m not a fan of seeing dishes drying!!)
The ironing board lives in the cupboard at the top of the stairs (couldn’t find a place for it in the kitchen!)
Microwave: press the power button to select required power then select time with the +/_ button then press start.
The fire extinguisher, fire blanket and first aid kit are all under the sink.
I have left out instruction manuals for all appliances.
The right hand sofa pulls out to a king size double sofa bed. Pull the base out like a draw. Clean bedding is in side ready for use. NB. You will need to move the single chair in order to open the sofa bed.
Only use the HUMAX remote control. It controls all functions for the TV, PVR ( satellite ) and DVD/ CD. There are 4 white function buttons along the top of the remote. To turn on TV; Press the TV function button then hold down the ON/OFF button until TV comes on. To turn on PVR ( satellite ) ; press the PVR function button then the ON/OFF button. NB, it takes a few seconds for the PVR to go through its start up! Be patient! Use the GUIDE button to see schedules etc. To turn on the DVD/CD player press the DVD function button, (email hidden) in the PIONEER DVD player ( top right) and press play. NB use this DVD player to play CDs as well as DVDs. You can plug in your iPod/ iPhone etc and play music through the sound system by using the cable on top of the amp, just switch the source to TAPE ( don't forget to switch it back to source for TV/PVR/DVD/CD.
The system allows you to hear sound in every room of the flat, each room has individual volume controls, including the terrace)
One word of warning, if you do use the sound on the terrace (obviously don’t play it too loud or too late) be sure to turn the volume control (situated next to the terrace door) all the way to off when you have finished out side, otherwise the neighbors will be subjected to listening to all the tv/music/radio you are listening to when you are back inside!!! And I know from experience, they don’t seem to like it much!!
The remote uses the infra red system which is installed just under the TV screen, so point it toward the TV when using it.This system means you never have to open the cupboards….except when putting in/taking (email hidden)….obviously!
I have left out the central heating instructions, but be warned they are not easy! the only thing you really need to know though is that you change/set the room temp by turning the dial, the temp you are setting will show in the bottom right hand corner. So far so simple. The actual inside temp is shown large in the middle of the screen. The outside temp is shown small in the lower right hand corner (when you are not usingthe dial). FYI the hot water is instant/on demand so it is always hot.
Is at the top of the stairs, press the grey button to let people in the front door. The other button is broken so you will have to let them in the flat door yourself.
I have a high spec fire alarm installed. The control panel is inside the cupboard at the top of the stairs at the back. The only time it has ever gone off with me is when I’m attempting to fry steaks!!! My extractor fan is not terribly efficient and so I would recommend opening the kitchen window when hot frying! The alarm is VERY loud!!! Don’t panic! Just go to the control panel and press buttons 1,2,3 in succession and that will turn the alarm off and reset it…..simple! It goes without saying that if you are not cooking and the alarm goes off you need to check and make sure there is no actual fire anywhere in the flat!!!
All pretty self explanatory.
The bathroom light switches are at the top of the stairs.
The shower has 3 taps the top turns the over head shower on/off the middle adjusts temp and the bottom turns hand held shower on/off.
I have left you one large shelf inside the right hand bathroom cupboard (behind mirror) for your toiletries and there is a double shaver/elec toothbrush socket there too.
I have left you the middle section of the wardrobe for your clothes; there are 4 draws and hanging space.
Spare clean towels are in the left hand draw under the bed
Spare clean sheets etc are in the right hand draw under the bed.
To set up your Wi Fi just select "Orange47d2ba" and type in security code dcaafb56

-LIVERPOOL ROAD, ISLINGTON, LONDON, N1 for Sainsburys supermarket, Waitrose supermarket, Marks and Spencers supermarket and Chapel fresh food market.
- UPPER STREET,ISLINGTON for all high street shops (including Boots the chemist) opposite Angel tube station.
- TYSOE STREET, EC1 for Budgens; the nearest good general store (open until 23.00)
- EXMOUTH MARKET, EC1 for the best restaurants and coolest bars (including Moro - high end well renowned restaurant, Med calf - mid range British restaurant, Caravan - new funky breakfast/brunch venue and Cafe Kick - super cool and laid back bar, plus Starbucks and other yummy deli's and cake shops)
The closest tube stations are:
ANGEL 5 mins walk
KINGS CROSS 8 mins walk
FARRINGDON 12 mins walk.

Jeremy's place was hands down the best airbnb spot I've ever stayed. This place is spacious, the interior was beautiful, his garden is full of nice plants and trees. Great kitchen, huge bathtub and his home audio system was incredible. I'd love to go back when I visit London again, very highly recommended.
We had the pleasure of renting out Jeremy's flat for three months. At the end of our stay it certainly felt like home! We already miss the green bathtub.

I stayed a month at Jeremy's with my husband and our two dogs, and we all loved it. Jeremy's flat is exactly as he describes. He has a wonderful taste and everything was very clean! Besides, he is very attentive to details and his house rules had anything we might need. We had everything we could possibly need inside. Plus, we had his terrace outside, which is just amazing! Our dogs loved the terrace!! Also, it is very easy to go from his flat to anywhere in London. Thus, staying there is very convenient. I recommend it a lot!
We had a great six week stay in Jeremy's apartment. Split on two levels, with an outside terrace, there is plenty of room. Everything you could need is near by and it is a short walk to Kings Cross mainline station. We would have no hesitation in staying again.
A great stay. Everything was as expected. Would recommend Jeremy's apartment to friends travelling to the UK. We found the location to be handy to all the sights. Angel and Kings Cross tubes to be in easy walks.

Jeremy's apartment is fantastic and he is a kind and generous host. The garden terrace that he has created is extraordinary, like a tuscan courtyard transported to the heart of London, the interior of the apartment is beautiful, relaxing, full of light and practically appointed as well. The bathtub is wonderful (lit from above with a big skylight) and the bed is large and comfortable. The location is great, many restaurants and shops nearby (check out the restaurant Modern Pantry).
