The space
The Log home was moved to hilltop of the farmstead and rebuilt in 2016 with touches of the farm integrated into the structure along with new and modern touches. This unit has been used exclusively for Airbnb since 2017. The cabin has total exposure of south, east and west skyline. An addition has been added to the north end of the cabin making it a duplex with no common walls. The area that connects the 2 units is a breezeway and stairway to the garage. The hosts live in the addition full time but have busy schedules, and are often gone.

The cabin is south facing with a 1000 sq ft wrap around deck (on 3 sides) with a gazebo and hot tub. The views are breathtaking.

The interior is an open concept with a beautiful walnut bar, contemporary fireplace and an upstairs loft that includes 2 work areas and 2 twin beds. The main private bedroom is also upstairs.
The cabin is cozy and has lots of character.

Explore the acres of wooded areas with mowed paths and open space with wildflower patches and berries in the summer. Relax in the hot tub on the west deck during sunset or on a starry night.

History of the Farm-Dan's mother grew up in the farm house and then along with her husband, raised her family, Dan and his siblings. Dan took over the farm in 1985. Dan and Kellie raised their family of 6 children on the farm through many tough years of farming . Recently one of our daughters and husband purchased the farm house with some acreage and are raising their 4 children. Another daughter and her husband purchased adjoining property, and are raising their 3 children. Dan and Kellie have moved up to the new hilltop addition. The farming operation is a generational working family farm. Both girls and their families, are working hard on the farm and teaching their children the meaning of hard work and teamwork. The farm has Dairy cows, beef cattle, pigs, chickens, and ducks. The family also offers a farm produce stand as well as beef and pork from the farm raised animals. Every season has something to offer!

Guest access
Guests have access to 10 acres of wild flowers, prairie grasses, nature food plots and open spaces as well as 15 acres of timber and a pond to the west with mowed walking and snowshoeing paths. Walk fence lines to view the farm animals. Opportunities also exist to see the farm operations closer.

Watch the sunset while relaxing in the 6 person hot tub that sits on our west deck.

Certain seasons of the year have wild berries available for picking and farm stand produce.
