You will stay in a beautiful restored farmhouse on 250 acres of rolling green on Clear Creek. Your bright and airy room was designed by a long time architect. Owner Phillip started this sweet community with a dream; "Humans can live harmoniously with the land and with each other". You can partake in the many events we host, or bath in the solitary tranquility of the hills and flowing creek.

The space
We are a small working farm and you can expect farming activities. You will stay in the farmhouse. Adjacent is a restored one room Schoolhouse, where we host small gatherings including; music, theater, yoga, Sunday coffee and other unique events. Nearby is a 70' greenhouse. There is also a beautiful outhouse with composting toilet. And of course you can nibble from all the gardens, hunt for agate geodes in the creek...and explore the entire 250 acres.

Guest access
Besides the bedroom with your own bathroom, you can use the kitchen, living room, porches and decks. Essentially the entire house except for two rooms where one or two quiet people live.

Clear Creek area is special. Pristine air, water, green hills and blue sky roll on forever. The good people here are warm-hearted, into homesteading and resilience...Some residents of our region consider this a slice of paradise. A wonderful hike to Anglin Falls is part of our neighborhood. Berea College is a small no tuition College founded on the principals of equal rights. The campus is beautiful and often offers entertainment and lectures open to the public and free.

Our AirBnB is a rustic 19th Century Farmhouse nestled in a lush valley of the Appalachian foothills. The house has been passed down through generations, and renovated by the current owner. A recent addition offers some modern amenities and pristine views of the valley and hills. The kitchen is a shared space enjoyed by guests, seasonal help and residents of the land. On Sunday mornings the farmhouse hosts a community coffee, going on 7 years. Guests are welcome to attend. Sunday Coffee provides a great opportunity to meet the Clear Creek Community! Adjacent to the farmhouse a second historic one room school used by the surrounding community until the 1950s. The Schoolhouse is a community space for arts and crafts. We host poetry readings, small concerts and theatrical performances. The Schoolhouse is blessed with warm wonderful acoustics. Bring your musical instrument and experience the reverberation of ancient bead board and maple floors! The land and house serves may duties as a community homestead. Farm amenities include cliff side spring water and ripe growing conditions. There are garden beds, fruit trees, honey bees, and a greenhouse. Two delightful horses graze in adjacent pastures. Hike into Hart Hollow, gander at the growing gardens or check out Clear Creek. An adjacent forest preserve features Anglin Falls. This easy walk is always a delight with seasonal wild flowers and ancient limestone cliffs. The land loves to be loved!
