Beautiful, Sun-filled Private Guest Suite. Long term Guest/Lodger only. Best suited for 1 person. Small bedroom with full closet next to it, private bathroom, living room w/sofa, armchair, TV armoire, and full kitchen. Skylights and old time feel in historic building dating to 1890. Located in the Western Addition/Lower Pacific Heights. Close to Presidio, Japantown, Fillmore district, Sundance and Vogue movie theaters, UCSF Mt. Zion, JCC, and Laurel Village. Located in the Sunbelt/Banana belt.

The space
Private Guest Suite. My apartment is the upstairs apartment on the second floor of a two unit 1890 Victorian building. The bedroom is small and cozy, but the entire space large. There's a living room with a sofa, armchair, armoire, local TV (no cable), Free Wifi, and a laptop friendly workspace. Vintage, modern eclectic feel. The living room has french doors with light and sound proofing added to offer more privacy. A private, small full bathroom with sink, lavvy and shower. Bright, spacious kitchen.

It is a fully contained Guest Suite with a separate entrance where the Guests stay, but I do live behind the other doors in the Upstairs apartment that are locked and marked Private. My apartment is the Upper unit.

We ask that people who visit here try to be environmentally conscious and use resources only as needed. Must be Low maintenance Guest(s). If you are looking for ultra modern accommodations, or a 24 hour concierge, please consider another place. Please review all amenities and common amenities to know what is available here before requesting to book (i.e., no cable tv, local tv channels only, no microwave, no iron, no A/C).

The 1890 Victorian building is nearly 130 years old and needs upkeep from time to time. Please do not disturb the Downstairs Neighbors during your visit.

I love hiking and the ocean. My apartment is near some of the nicest places to eat, work out and hang out in San Francisco. Close to the UCSF Mount Zion medical campus, the JCC, the Presidio, the Fillmore, the Sundance and Vogue Movie Theaters. The closest stores are Target and Trader Joe's. I enjoy good food and good friends.

During your stay

Limited. Separate entrance. I often never see my Guests, but am usually only a message away if you need anything. I prefer to host less frequently and only for long term periods to a serious Guest/Lodger who is an experienced traveler and will take care of the property. The ideal Guest is quiet, clean, respectful and low maintenance. A Guest/Lodger who enjoys privacy and space, and who recognizes that this is my Private home. For most emergencies, my property manager assists. We do not offer 24 hour concierge service. If you are looking for this type of accommodation, please consider another place.
