Explore the Catskill Region from this conveniently placed 100+ year-old home. In cooler months, go leaf peeping, skiing, snowshoeing, shopping/antiquing, then return home and cozy-up by the fireplace. During the warmer months, enjoy a zip line ride, hiking, mountain biking, or a swim in Kaaterskill Creek, then relax and unwind in our spacious sunroom.
Hunter Ski Resort is 15 minutes away, Wyndham Ski Resort is 30 minutes away, and several NY state park trailheads are steps from the front door.

The space
We put in a lot of effort to carefully curate this old farmhouse to make it both comfortable, user friendly and also give you a real feeling of the upstate Hudson Valley/ Catskill Mountains experience. The main street farmhouse has a rustic feel with exposed beams, reclaimed wood trim and a touch of modern furnishings with eclectic decoration, all combining to fill the space with real character. Take time to browse through the books and magazines by the fire and take in the house details. Or, we recommend exploring all that is nearby. The home is central to everything, within a 30 minute or less drive.
The Kaaterskill Wild Forest trail head is about 300 feet west of our front door for great hiking. The Kaaterskill creek is across the street, and Kaaterskill Falls can be hiked to easily (or a quick drive). Come stay and see why we love our home.

Guest access
There are a few locked closets off limits and the garage is off limits. Otherwise the entire house is available to guests.

Other things to note
While the house is near many attractive towns and ideally located for outdoor sporting it is also good to know there is a convenience market next door for basic supplies of all types.
Circle W Market is also within walking distance for a delicious breakfast or lunch or snacks open everyday. Also Farm-fresh markets are nearby within a few miles of house.
The Kitchen is fully outfitted including herbs and spices for cooking.
There are two TV's with streaming channels, and connections for music streaming. Wi-fi is fast and the house is fully covered.
We allow pets but please reach out to us to learn some very basic guidelines.

The house is at the foot of Catskill State Park giving quick and easy access to several great hikes with trail heads minutes away. Some even lead to Kaaterskill Falls. It's also conveniently located on Main Street Palenville which provides walking access to a nearby market or a quick drive by car up and down the canyon road. Driving West is Hunter Mountain, Windham Mountain and quaint Catskill towns such as Woodstock, Tannersville and Phoenicia, or head East to Hudson, Saugerties and Athens.
