Located between Little Italy, the Jean Talon Market and the shopping street of the Plaza St-Hubert, the location of our apartment offers all the amenities within 5 minutes walk. Accessible by subway and bus at night is very easy. The stops are located at the corner of the street, the orange line metro will take you to the city center with no change and if the subway is already closed, the night bus will take you back to your night out, directly to Berri UQAM the door, going up St-Denis, giving you the opportunity to stop in other bars on the shelf if it is not yet 3 am ;D.
Interests in the quarter :
- Vices et versa bar ((website hidden))
- Jean Talon Market
- Nacho Libre
- Elefsen (Northway café Restaurant)
- Jurançon (french Restaurant)
- Le vieu vélo (Breakfast brunch)
- Café Odessa
- Pastaga (really good retsaurant)

Eclectic apartment in an interesting neighborhood with bars, restaurants, and the market. Stephane was accommodating and helpful. Very positive experience.
My wife and I really enjoyed staying in Stephane's apartment during our stay in Montreal. The apartment is very spacious and clean, and we were greeted with great hospitality when we arrived to check in. Stephane and his girlfriend made sure we had everything we needed and gave us several suggestions of places to go while in town that we would not have found on our own. Their house is within walking distance of Little Italy and a range of other interesting places. Definitely check out the Marche Jean-Talon - a huge open-air market for all your cooking needs (if you choose to cook) and some great places to grab cooked food for your breakfast or lunch. Likewise, check out Le Vieux Velo (59 Beaubien est, Montreal, QC) for some great eggs benedict!
Oh, and Stephane's cat is a real sweetheart! He is super-affectionate (and hypo-allergenic, apparently). Enjoy!
Myself and 3 friends stayed at Stéphan's house in Montreal for a weekend and had the best time. The house is spacious, accommodating, and in a great area that wasn't too far from downtown. Also, it was tidy and included everything we could have needed, especially their fantastic espresso machine. :) I would most definitely recommend their house to others and would consider staying there again.
Love to stay there, really got the feeling of a life in Montreal.. the neighbor is well located, near to downtown and very Cousy ! highly recommended
thanks for all
This place was amazing! Tons of great character and charm that you won't find in a hotel — exactly the sort of place you want to find on AirBnb. Stéphane and Marie-Claude has kept the place very clean. They also have a cat, Pipou, who was very friendly to everyone. The house is located nearby a ton of great restaurants and bars, plus a subway stop just a few minutes away. Highly recommended and would definitely stay at again.
Stéphane and Marie-Claude's apartment was perfect for our short stay in Montréal this weekend. Funky and eclectic, in addition to being well-located (close to Marché Jean-Talon and Beaubien station), we couldn't recommend it more. They were also great hosts, ensuring that we had everything we needed to enjoy our weekend.
They aren't kidding about that kitchen, either - it's well-equipped with everything you need to make a five-star meal, but with restaurants as good as Pastaga and Santa Barbra less than a ten-minute stroll away, we never got a chance to try it out!
Thank you again, Stéphane and Marie-Claude (and Pipou, too!) for making our last-minute, and all-too-short, visit to Montréal a great one.
Lovely! We had a blast. Thanks Stephane! The cat was adorable and the place was homey and lovely. Xx
