Located between Little Italy, the Jean Talon Market and the shopping street of the Plaza St-Hubert, the location of our apartment offers all the amenities within 5 minutes walk. Accessible by subway and bus at night is very easy. The stops are located at the corner of the street, the orange line metro will take you to the city center with no change and if the subway is already closed, the night bus will take you back to your night out, directly to Berri UQAM the door, going up St-Denis, giving you the opportunity to stop in other bars on the shelf if it is not yet 3 am ;D.
Interests in the quarter :
- Vices et versa bar ((website hidden))
- Jean Talon Market
- Nacho Libre
- Elefsen (Northway café Restaurant)
- Jurançon (french Restaurant)
- Le vieu vélo (Breakfast brunch)
- Café Odessa
- Pastaga (really good retsaurant)
or check my lists on foursquare (mrvasseur)
There are no fees for a flat cleanup after you leave just because we expect you to let the place as you found it when you come in.
Pipou our cat is very shy you won't see it often but it needs to be feed at least twice a week and once during the weekend.
The parking behind belongs to our neighboors downstairs and can only be use for a quick stop.
Stephane & Marie-Claude have a lovely apartment. Checking-in was seamless & they let us know where everything was ahead of time. They also suggested a few nice places to eat & drink in the neighborhood. Very good stay.
We had a lovely romantic weekend getaway at this cozy apartment. The neighbourhood is funky and well-located. And we were dazzled by the our hosts generous gift of fresh fruit and bagels on the first day. Thanks for making our stay special!
We loved our stay at Stephane & Marie-Claude's lovely apartment. My boyfriend and I drove from NYC to Montreal for a weekend visit and we couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. The apartment not only has tons of character, but is very well-located (only minutes away from most major attractions/tons of restaurants, etc). I totally recommend this place to anyone looking to get a real look into life in Montreal. :)
Love to stay there, really got the feeling of a life in Montreal.. the neighbor is well located, near to downtown and very Cousy ! highly recommended
thanks for all
This place was amazing! Tons of great character and charm that you won't find in a hotel — exactly the sort of place you want to find on AirBnb. Stéphane and Marie-Claude has kept the place very clean. They also have a cat, Pipou, who was very friendly to everyone. The house is located nearby a ton of great restaurants and bars, plus a subway stop just a few minutes away. Highly recommended and would definitely stay at again.
Stéphane and Marie-Claude's apartment was perfect for our short stay in Montréal this weekend. Funky and eclectic, in addition to being well-located (close to Marché Jean-Talon and Beaubien station), we couldn't recommend it more. They were also great hosts, ensuring that we had everything we needed to enjoy our weekend.
They aren't kidding about that kitchen, either - it's well-equipped with everything you need to make a five-star meal, but with restaurants as good as Pastaga and Santa Barbra less than a ten-minute stroll away, we never got a chance to try it out!
Thank you again, Stéphane and Marie-Claude (and Pipou, too!) for making our last-minute, and all-too-short, visit to Montréal a great one.
Lovely! We had a blast. Thanks Stephane! The cat was adorable and the place was homey and lovely. Xx
