Rustic basic cabin made from two grain silos in the foothills of Alberta. You are guaranteed to see nobody. The amenities are basic. We have electricity for lights and a kerosene heater in case of cold weather. Bring your own bedding and drinking water. There are two single beds. There is an antique wood stove to use for heating & cooking if you wish, but we also have a tabletop propane stove. The kitchen has a sink and running cold water. Our fresh air outhouse is a great experience ;)

The space
This is a rustic stay. There is no shower or flush toilet. We do have pots, a pan & basic utensils & dishware on hand. Check pictures in listing for what we stock.
You are sharing the space with nature. There are often cows nearby. Deer for sure and maybe bear, elk or cougar. In case of bears, please act responsibly, carry bear spray & do not leave garbage outside.

Hello. I'm Jenae & I love life. Surrounded by the beauty of the mountains, I am inspired by their majestic peaks. I love to ride horse in the foothills, moving cattle into grasslands. I enjoy hiking with my husband, Craig on all the many local trails, and we love to camp whenever we get the chance. We are expecting our 1st BABY in May 2021!
