I had a great stay at the Oasis Jungle Studio. Both the location and studio were exactly what I had hoped for. The studio was clean and the perfect size for a couple or solo traveler and the AC made a huge difference for sleeping. You definitely get an authentic Costa Rican experience - I could hear howler monkeys in the morning and there were a couple of sloths hanging out in a tree in direct view of my patio for a few days! If you plan on visiting the beach and Manuel Antonio National Park, the studio is situated on the hill just above both. Each are walkable, but the bus stop is right next door to Villas Nicolas and only costs 310 Colones each way (roughly 60 cents US). Highly recommended overall.

My fiancee and I truly enjoyed our stay at the Oasis 3 Jungle Studio adjacent to Villas Nicolas. Sheryl, Julio and Alexandra were very nice and extremely helpful answering questions before our stay and offering recommendations during our stay. The kitchenette was nice, the cable TV was a surprise and the air conditioning was a life saver given the high temps and humidity. The ability to access the pool and hot tub and Villas Nicolas significantly added to the experience. The bathroom was suitable, and the place has a queen size bed and love seat. The location -- right off the main road and commuter bus route -- was terrific and very close to many popular restaurant in the area. We did not see much wildlife around the property, but sometimes small ants clustered around the front door and kitchen. That's more of an observation, and the ants did not significantly detract from the many positives of this unit. There is another studio adjacent to Oasis 3 and an apartment above it. We could not hear our next door neighbor, but we could clearly hear the 'clanking' of dishes, glasses and silverware from the neighbors above when they were in their kitchen which is right above our studio's bed. My fiancee is a light sleeper and the noise disturbed her, but I was able to sleep through it most of the time. Overall the combination of price, location, space and amenities is wonderful. I definitely recommend it.

The jungle studio was the perfect pied-a-terre for our week long stay in Manuel Antonio. The space was clean and comfortable and had a nice working kitchen and terrace, where we enjoyed eating breakfast with the hummingbirds and macaws. Guests of the jungle studio are technically not guests of Villas Nicolas, although the studio itself is adjacent to the hotel. We were allowed access to the pool, which has an amazing view of the ocean and is a great spot to watch the sunset. The staff is very kind and accomodating and we booked a great catamaran dolphin/snorkeling tour through Julio at the front desk. There is free parking if you have a rental car, although all the tours will organize a pick up and drop off. The studio is centrally located and walking distance to the supermarket, bank, and many bars and restaurants on the main road. Overall we were very pleased with our stay here and would recommend it for any couple visiting Manuel Antonio! Pura Vida!

I thought this place was adorable! It was exactly enough space since I was travelling by myself. Although there was no air conditioning, I didnt miss it. The ceiling fans were perfect. The pool area is beautiful and it was so nice to sit there and relax. Unfortunately since it was the low season, the restaurant/bar area wasn't open. The staff was lovely and I would definitely stay there again.

I never got to meet the host like i was hoping but the hotel (Villas Nicolas) staff really made me feel part of there hotel. Great staff, very helpful with booking tours and recommending good restaurants. The location is absolutely perfect. Right between quepos (good for groceries) and the National park. All the best restaurants are in walking distance and the bus to get to the park or quepos is really close and cheap (305c per person)

We spent 5 nights in the studio and it was the best place we stayed on our 18 days in CR. It was less polished than the photos but very clean and had everything we needed. Swimming and lounging at the gorgeous pool next door was the highlight. The location is ideal for nearby restaurants (falafel, El Patio, and more) and groceries. Buses run between Manuel Antonio and Quepos every 15 or 30 min and a ride is only 60 cents (305 CRC) so it is very easy to get to the beach or town for cheap. I highly recommend staying here as it is such a great deal.

This place was amazing! Just as described. Spent about five days here with my girlfriend in April and we had a blast. The room was as shown and very nice. Perfect for the two of us. Everything was working just fine. The fans kept the room cool in the very hot weather. The tv had quite a few channels in English. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies( no food just things to cook and eat with). The location was amazing. A two minute walk up the road takes you to an ATM, grocery store/liquor store as well as many spots to eat and drink. The other way takes you past multiple restaurants and bars. The beach is not that far to walk to but it's all uphill on the way back. Plenty of taxis and such to get you around. The pool was very enjoyable as well. Monkeys all over the place. As previously stated by other reviewers there are bugs. It is the jungle. It's like saying the beach is sandy. It happens. It's not bad at all though. Keep all your food in the fridge and clean up after yourself and it's no problem at all! I would love to stay here again!
