About This Listing
Wicked poolside room in peaceful home set in the rice fields. A very beautiful surrounding with some killer views of jungle and distant volcanoes. The home is brand new (just a couple of months old) and kept sparkling clean. Daily cleaning provided.
The house is brand new, sparkling clean, and has a nifty pool. The quintessential 360 degree views of rice fields, jungle and volcanoes makes this house quite special.
Guests are totally welcome to make use of the pool, kitchen, and other shared spaces.

I'm generally around and happy to show you around, give you some tips, and join you for some yummy food.
Sanggingan is set just outside of the main bustle of Ubud, but still allows for super speedy access to everything Ubud has to offer. Sanggingan is blessed with a killer Italian restaurant, a most excellent Indonesian Warung, an awesome (and pretty cheap) spa and of course the famous (but if slightly overrated) Naughty Nuri's.
You're life will be easier if you're comfortable in riding a scooter. But it's still only a short work to the main road where you're able to grab a taxi.
Respect our neighbours, local culture, and the peace.
No animals, no smoking.
Keith's place was great. It really is beautiful as seen in pictures. We stayed there for 10 days, and it was a good starting point to explore Bali. Internet connection would satisfy any digital nomad. We didn't get a chance to meet Keith, but his roommate Alain and Wayan (he takes care of the house) were more than welcoming. They helped us with anything needed. I would recommend this place anytime.
I had a fantastic stay @ Keith's Villa. To be honest, the photo's don't do the place justice - it's even more comfortable than it looks. The pool is sooo nice, and the views of the rice fields and volcanoes are ridiculous. Keith is super friendly, and had plenty of tips and recommendations for restaurant's which I really appreciated. He also organised a scooter for me which was very handy. Along with the other airbnb housemates, he was really relaxed and the perfect host. The other handy thing was that there was plenty of desk space for working, and the internet was excellent too. Overall, I'm 99% sure that you won't find a better deal than this in Ubud. I'm sure I'll be back here before too long.
Keith's place was awesome. Pretty accurate to the pictures, the room was large and very clean with private entrance directly out to the pool and gorgeous views of the rice fields. Upon arriving there was a sweet welcome package of snacks, a local cell phone and a bunch of guides and maps.
It rained most of the time I was there so I unfortunately didn't get to use the pool very much. It's a bit smaller than it looks in the picture but unless you plan on swimming laps (I thought I might) it's really nice and also clean.
Great to have access to a kitchen. FYI there's no breakfast included but some selection of teas and coffee that seem to be available for anyone. Keith, the other guests (mostly long term guests it seems) and Wayan were all really friendly. I didn't rent a motorbike and walked mostly. I didn't mind because I like walking and could catch rides back at night for (phone number hidden) usd). Having transport would have definitely been cool but if you don't mind walking it's still fine.
The description of this room and villa was entirely accurate. It was a pleasure staying here. It was a great way for me to wind down from my backpacking adventure at a fantastic price. The private room looking over the pool and rice paddies was very nice. It's nice and secluded, yet still easy to travel around Ubud with a cheap motorbike rental (Keith can help you with this). The house has nice facilities and you can really feel at home here. The pool is great and clean, as is the rest of the villa. Keith was very helpful and I found him to be a nice and genuine guy. A good place to stay for a short time or for an extended period. Amazing wifi - best I had on my trip. Probably can't find better. First airbnb experience and I want to thank Keith for a great time and for his kindness!
This is my first AirBNB experience and I have to say it's just marvelous!Great location, with a scooter U can reach the Ubud center in just few mins, restaurants and supermarket is within walking distance.
The room view is breathtaking and the whole villa is super cozy ,homey which made me feel so lazy to go out haha. What a home away from home!
Beside this amazing house, the more important is to have Keith such great person as my host.He arranged the transport for me ,welcomed me with great hospitality and showed me the places which tourists seldom go. How lucky I am to get the chance to be his guest.Thumbs up for Keith as well as the hard working house keeping boy wayan!
I do hope that I can come back to Ubud to be his roomie again :)
What you see is what you get. The accommodation was awesome, to put it simply - away from the hustle and bustle of town yet easy enough to access. The villagers also presented so much love and warmth, it was my fortune to be able to chance upon this treasure trove of a place. My sleep was restful and thoroughly enjoyable all 4 nights I stayed.
If you're travelling alone, you don't have much to worry about. Keith handed me some essentials upon arrival including a mobile phone with a local number. Sure was handy throughout the stay! Would choose the same accommodation if I ever land myself in Ubud again.
Keith was great, every question you could probably think of was on a laminated page he gave you and was pretty much our bible. He is very good at keeping contact and helps you out whenever you need it. Our room was cleaned thoroughly everyday by wayan, the wifi is great and the pool is clean and beautiful! We were super relaxed and at home here. So much so we decided to return to Ubud a couple of weeks after leaving there
