Super twin room in peaceful home set in the rice fields. A very beautiful surrounding with some killer views of jungle and distant volcanoes. The home is brand new (just a couple of months old) and kept sparkling clean. Daily cleaning provided.
The house is brand new, sparkling clean, and has a nifty pool. The quintessential 360 degree views of rice fields, jungle and volcanoes makes this house quite special.
Guests are totally welcome to make use of the pool, kitchen, and other shared spaces.

Sanggingan is set just outside of the main bustle of Ubud, but still allows for super speedy access to everything Ubud has to offer. Sanggingan is blessed with a killer Italian restaurant, a most excellent Indonesian Warung, an awesome (and pretty cheap) spa and of course the famous (but if slightly overrated) Naughty Nuri's.
You're life will be easier if you're comfortable in riding a scooter. But it's still only a short work to the main road where you're able to grab a taxi.

Had a very relaxing time with keith . His house is in the middle of rice fields and is very quiet .
Fully recommended. Keith is a seasoned host: his communication with me previous to my arrival was right on time and, at the arrival, he had prepared a list with essential information (where to go eat, buy stuff, touristy places, emergency contacts etc.).
The location: it's a really quiet place, surrounded by houses where locals live - and it's really nice walking through the paddy fields to get home, beautiful at day and night (if you get to see the fireflies).
The house itself is comfortable and got all the essentials for you to feel home: kitchen, fridge, couch, wifi, comfortable bed, all really clean.
Finally, if you're lucky to find the host and other Airbnb guests available, Ubud it's a great place to go out together, dine and make new friends.
I stayed here for 12 nights in Sept-October 2014.
Keith's place is a lovely modern villa in a great location down a winding footpath into a rice field a few km outside Ubud centre. Finding the way and arriving there at night by the glow of my iPhone was a bit of an adventure - in a good way! - and a real Bali experience, accompanied by the sound of trickling water, the croaking of frogs and other gentle sounds of nature.
I stayed in the large twin room with private bathroom and the whole house was spotless thanks to daily cleaning by Wayan the housekeeper - I even had my bed made for me every day, what a luxury! Wayan was encouraging of my efforts to speak some basic Balinese - laughing *with* me, I like to think! I greatly enjoyed morning and night-time swims in the infinity pool overlooking the rice field - lovely!
Keith was a welcoming and generous host, and I enjoyed meals out with him and his housemate as well as attending events in the Ubud Writers' and Readers' Festival together. We also had some good chats about business and internet-related matters. Keith kindly arranged a discount on a cycling tour I wanted to take :-)
Oh, I almost forgot... Amazingly, despite being out in the middle of a rice field, the house has an optical fibre connection for the internet, the fastest I experienced anywhere in Bali (5 MBps download speed - which easily served three of us in the house simultaneously - and, believe me, 5 meg is fast for Bali!)
All in all, a very good experience, which I particularly appreciated as I was travelling on my own - the house really did feel like a 'home' for my time in Ubud. I'd be happy to go back some time and once again "feel like an Ubudian".
I love here! Comfortable bed, amazing rice field view, best host in the world! 7 stars!!!️️️️️️️
Staying within Keith´villa was quite amazing. In the middle of the beautiful rice fields of uBud and but also not not far away from the center, you can find peace and silence in a top apartment. I stayed there three days, met amazing people, relaxed in the pool and enjoyed the overwhelming view out of my bedroom and the open living room.
Finding the way to the apartment was quite a funny and exciting experience since the way only allows scooters, bikes or walking people to use it. The advantage: No noise around the apartment! Amazing.:)
Hope to make it again to Keith´s cozy villa
I stayed at Keith's place for 2 (website hidden) is really good value for money- a spacious room with ensuite bathroom. The house itself is lovely, very nice furnished and the atmosphere is great. The views of the rice fields were stunning. Listening the sounds of nature made me feel connected to it.
The house was very clean and well taken care of by Wayan the housekeeper who was also very helpful providing me with useful information.
Keith was very kind and helpful with any questions I had.He was just exceptional in providing all the local knowledge that he has gained about the places to visit, the things to do and the food joints. The map that he shared was also very helpful. My housemates were friendly and sweet!
A great experience! I would definitely go back!
