We had an amazing experience at Mystic Cave, the rooms are very spacious, clean and tidy and living in a cave for a few days was a great experience! Breakfast is included, all you can eat buffet consisting of meats, cheeses, eggs, olives, bread and spreads, yoghurt, fruit and of course cereal, tea and fresh coffee. Our host Cemal was amazing, we were late in booking our sunrise balloon flight and could only get on the second flight (not sunrise) but Cemal made some phone calls and got us on a first flight which was an unforgettable experience! Cemal is quite simply put, a bloody legend of a bloke! We both highly recommend Mystic Cave House! And also Cemal books and organises airport transfers and all tours etc and you just pay at the end!
Thank you Cemal and all the staff at Mystic Cave!
Kindest Regards, Gene & Emma :)
It is a wonderful place to stay in Goreme. Goreme is a small town, so location is not a problems at all, but what makes it good is the staff there. They are all nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and being cleaned everyday you stay. Breakfast is good. Very comfortable outdoor area for relaxing.
We could not recommend Mystic Cave hotel more highly, mainly because of the exceptional service we received during our honeymoon stay. When we arrived, we entered an amazing cave hotel room filled with lit candles, balloons, rose pedals, towels twisted into heart/doves, and a bottle of Turkish wine. And throughout our stay, we were assisted by Jemal, one of the friendliest people we met during our entire two-week trip. Jemal booked our wonderful balloon ride, looked into personal guides for us at the local caves (and even offer to take us himself), and personally prepared and served us breakfast when we woke up late one morning. This is the type of place where the yogurt served is prepared by Jemal's grandmother, the milk/cheese comes from Jemal's mother's farm, and various family members step in to provide a terrific experience. And the hotel property is extremely clean and convenient to everything in Goreme, with patios and lounge chairs spread out on multiple levels so that you can relax and leisurely take all the sites in.
Overall, this was a highly memorable stay due to the quality and location of the hotel, as well as the kindness of the people managing it. Many thanks again to Jemal et al. for a wonderful visit to Goreme/Cappadocia - we will not forget your hospitality!
Our stay was really awesome! The room was beautiful, located right at the heart of Goreme (at the heart of Cappadocia should I say!) and breakfast was also much appreciated.
We did not meet Zeynep but Cemal took care of us from the day we booked, helping us find places and treks to do in the region and taking care of booking both a turkish night and balloon ride for us (it is easy to do by yourself but still removed it from our minds). He really made our stay in Cappadocia wonderful!
Only warning I could give, if coming by car, don't trust Google maps as it can't locate the address, just try to find the street and you'll be fine!
