The space
Stay above a working pottery studio! The guesthouse is a cozy, rustic, modern bunkhouse, the guesthouse is outfitted with simple cotton bedding, a full set of tableware handmade in the studio below and enough cookware and kitchen supplies to serve you and your guests for the weekend or longer.

The space includes four bedrooms, a kitchen, a bath. Please note that there is not a living room in the bunkhouse, but Booth room has a seating area. The kitchen and dining area are one space and serve as the common area of the bunkhouse. The guesthouse is a private space, but there is an entrance in the kitchen area to another private dwelling which our full-time tenant enters to their self-contained apartment, but THEY DO NOT SHARE THE KITCHEN, BATHROOM OR OTHER SPACES IN THE GUESTHOUSE.

All bedrooms are dedicated guest spaces and have lock and key.

*Please note there is no smoking on the property.

Sorry, although 3 dogs live on the property, no visiting pets are allowed.

Ask me about private pottery classes. They require scheduling separate from your Airbnb reservation, so please inquire ahead of your visit. I'd love to teach you how to make pottery during your stay!

A quiet dead-end dirt road in Southern Vermont on the 2nd story of a pottery studio (see weekend packages for a one-of-a-kind art experience).
Newly renovated cozy, rustic rooms. Gorgeous views, hiking, snowshoeing from your front door. The house is 3 miles from the nearest general store. If you're arriving late, be sure to stop for morning essentials on your way. The kitchen is stocked with coffee, tea, and oatmeal.

We are located in southern Vermont on the Massachusetts border. 1 hour drive from Albany Int'l airport. 15 minutes north of the center of Williamstown Massachusetts: The Clark Art Institute, Williams College Museum of Art, Williamstown Theatre Festival, and local shops and eateries. MASS MoCA is 25 minutes southeast of the studio. 20 minutes south of Bennington Vermont: close to Bennington College, the Bennington museum, downtown eateries, galleries and shops, and about 30 minutes from Prospect Mountain ski center.

We live on the property and are in and out of the building on the first floor regularly but allow guests privacy in the second story bunkhouse. We are always available for questions by text or phone call.
