— BEDROOMS —
We’ve outfitted both bedrooms with comfortable down pillows and premium bedding so you can wake up refreshed from a great night’s sleep or a sunny afternoon nap. If needed, we have non-down, hypoallergenic pillows and comforters available.

— BATHROOM —
The bathroom has been completely remodeled around the original, desert-hued cast iron bathtub. The custom-built double vanity has ample space for 2 people to get ready for the next adventure. End your day with a calming shower or soothing bath.

— LIVING AREA —
The open living area invites you to spend time together while lounging or cooking a meal in our fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove, dishwasher, both Chemex & French press coffee makers, and 1950’s style SMEG refrigerator.

We’ve curated a selection of vinyl records, books, and games to keep you entertained throughout your stay. Get cozy watching complimentary Netflix on a 43” 4K television or stream all your favorite music on the hi-fidelity Bluetooth 4.0 stereo.

— OUTDOOR AREA —
Relax along the South and West sides of the house under a large shaded patio with an outdoor dining table, sofa, hammock, 2 swings, lounge chairs, a gas fire pit, and a gas grill. When the weather is nice, you can enjoy a meal on the patio and as the sun sets, turn on the string lights & pour yourself a glass of wine and chat under the stars.

— HOT TUB —
Enjoy a custom cedar hot tub to soak and unwind during all seasons. The circular cedar bench provides comfortable seating while enjoying hydrotherapy jets. We keep the water at 98 degrees in the summer and 104 degrees in winter but you can always set to your preferred temperature. It comfortably accommodates 4-6 people and is professionally serviced between every guest stay for optimal water quality.

— EV CHARGER —
220V Level 2 Tesla Wall Charger. For non-Tesla vehicles please bring a 40-50 amp Tesla to J1772 adaptor to use the charger.

— PLANTS & WILDLIFE —
Mojave Moon sits in a small neighborhood of homes with expansive natural landscapes overlooking mountains and the valley. You’ll be surrounded by many Joshua Trees, numerous species of cactus, and desert willows. In the early mornings and evenings, our home is often visited by Quails, Roadrunners, Doves, Hummingbirds, Jack Rabbits, Cottontail Rabbits, and Antelope Squirrels. Occasionally, you’ll get to hear the Great Horned Owls and howling Coyotes.

This is our home away from home & we love the magical, calming effects of the desert. Send us a message if you have any questions!

Guest access
Entire property minus the garage are included in this rental. Please, make yourself at home.

Other things to note
The house is conveniently located a few minutes from Highway 62 which means you'll occasionally hear distant cars from the yard depending on the wind direction.

The dirt road to the house has a short section with a minor decline and incline. If you're in a smaller, standard clearance vehicle just take it slow and follow the directions w/ photos provided before your arrival.

Higher clearance vehicles are not required, but recommended to fully explore the Joshua Tree area.

Please remember that you’re staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on site 24/7.

My work: Hosting travelers
Speaks English
We’re Mojave Desert locals living in the town of Joshua Tree. In 2020, we left city living behind to enjoy a peaceful desert lifestyle and haven’t looked back! After years of being Airbnb guests and staying in the homes of wonderful hosts around the world we decided to become hosts ourselves. It's been our dream to create relaxing desert homes that help our guests fall in love with this place too.
