What a wonderful place to stay for a long weekend. Its very spacious and well maintained. Very clean in all the rooms. Everyone was very happy with their stay. With it only being a 1/4 mile from the main downtown intersection, we were able to walk to the bars and restaurants without feeling too far away.We were plenty warm in the winter months, and the place looked gorgeous with the 3 inches of snow that we got overnight.
The only negative that our party had, was the master-bath didn't have privacy from the bedroom, and the second bath had sheer curtains. Nothing a well placed towel couldn't solve, but it was brought up as a negative.
All in all, we were very happy. It was a great place and reasonably priced. We would definitely stay here again.
Communication was easy as was access to keys. The house has lots of space and is decorated in a very fun way. There was nice outdoor space for enjoying the fine weather. Great kitchen. The master bed has a very comfortable king sized bed, and the second bed is a double bed.
We could walk to the square and to nice restaurants for dinner. Grocery store and liquor stores are a short drive away.
This house is perfect for a weekend away in Taos! The convenient location makes for an easy walk to the plaza, as well as being close to many dining option. (We loved our dinner at The Love Apple!) The house itself is charming and spacious, with a lovely outdoor area. I would definitely stay here again!
Casa Rosa is a lovely, spacious and welcoming home. We appreciated Donna's great taste: the artwork by local artists, pretty details and beautiful colors she used in decorating this home. It makes you feel warm and welcome from the moment you step thru the door. Donna was easy-going & professional to deal with and we were grateful that our dog was welcome too! He loved laying in the sun in the backyard. The proximity to the shops and restaurants was also great as we like to walk places. We think her home worked well for us, but there is so much space, a larger family or two couples will easily enjoy this home as well. A definite recommendation.
We two couples spent the night in Donna's fun and funky home. Its proximity to downtown Taos can't be beat!
The house is especially nice for two couples or a family because there are two courtyards and plenty of privacy due to the great layout of the house. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was exceptionally well stocked with dishes, cooking utensils, some food staples and a choice of good coffee.
We especially appreciated our gracious host Donna, because she worked with us regarding the length of our stay and was good at communicating and answering questions. We'd be pleased to stay as Casa Rosa again in the future!
