Sweet one-bedroom apartment in Cobble Hill, half-block from the lively cafes, bars and boutiques of trendy Smith Street, and 1 block from the F and G subway line (6min walk to A,C,2,3,R,4,5). Very safe.
The location and proximity to awesome stuff is truly ideal. You can easily take the train or a cab into the city, but could have just as much to do within easy walking distance.
There is a laundry room with pay machines in the basement.
I am usually available to interract via text, email or phone. I have been here for many years and enjoy advising people on cool things to do, places to eat and hang out, transportation options, etc. Just ask!
My neighborhood is quite simply the best in Brooklyn; very close to trendy downtown neighborhoods like Soho, the East Village and the Lower East Side by cab (right across the Brooklyn Bridge)!, but ensconced in a safe and cozy brownstone neighborhood with lots to do right outside the door.
The building is especially safe and convenient, on a quieter, treed residential block between two busy avenues lined with fantastic restaurants and bars, as well as boutiques, specialty food markets, and a couple of small parks.
It's perfect for a single, a couple or a couple with a small child. We are on the ground floor, so you don't have to worry about tackling lots of steps.
1 block from the F and G subway line (6 min walk to A,C,2,3,R,4,5).
Many of these trains take you to the Atlantic Terminal, with access to LIRR and the Barclay's Center for concerts and sporting events.
Two cats live here when it is not being rented. They won't be here during your stay, but if you're allergic it may be an issue for you.
I had a great stay here. Great location, very convenient for transportation and diversion. The apartment is comfortable and cozy, perfect for my stay. Andrea was a very helpful host with plenty of neighborhood recommendations. It's a perfect Brooklyn option.
Andrea was a very accommodating host and easy to work with. Her apartment was very clean and well furnished making our stay comfortable and relaxed. The location was ideal for visiting Brooklyn sights such as the Brooklyn Museum and the Promenade. It was a short trip to travel into Manhattan and could not have been easier with the subway just a few minutes away.
Andrea was exactly what a host should be: prompt, knowledgeable, nice and accessible. She did everything she promised and then some! Her place was on the ground floor (rare in Brooklyn and much preferred!), well heated, fully stocked kitchen, and really hot water -- on a nice street a few steps from great food, bars, an independent movie theater, and down the block from the train. I would stay at her place again. And at any place she hosted.
