This large two bedroom garden house is built with local peach-colored stone. Built into the natural rock, this ancient Medieval house was restored by a local architect with modern amenities emphasizing its charming character.
The romantic master bedroom is located in the mezzanine floor.
In a large space under the mezzanine there are two single beds or one queen bed to sleep two.
The garden has outstanding views.
This unit can be opened to an adjacent studio to serve a larger group.

The space
The location is very central. Only 4 minute walk from the main piazza in a quiet alley. This house is unique because it was built with hand cut peach stone which gives it a warm atmosphere and a lot of charm. It is decorated with local hand painted Deruta ceramics and local furnishings. The kitchen is fully equipped with all amenities including dishwasher and washing machine.

Spello, Umbria, Italy

Spello, famed for its delectable olive oils, wines, and truffles, has become the center of gourmet eating in Italy's Umbria region. We are in the heart of Spello's historic center, around a five minute walk from cappuccino, gelati, restaurants and markets as well as boutiques and the main piazza. Spello has everything you could want for a relaxing getaway to the Italian countryside.

I am a human rights advocate . My husband has s a real estate managment company. My husband and I are passionate traveler and love great food and wine, art and music. We wanted to have a home in Italy, so we bought this beautiful medieval property a few years ago for ourselves, but since it was too big we made it into 4 units with the help of a famous local architect. I have roots in Italy, although I live in California and have people on the ground taking care of my property and checking people in. I provide itineraries and lists of reccommendations to our guests. Managing this property for me is a passion. I cannot live without seeing the world ( I have traveled most of if so far) We recently came back from Burma(Myanmar) . I cannot live without fresh fruit and vegetables, a good cappuccino , a gelato , good music and a good book . My favorite travel destination is Umbria, where our house is. I like to stay in a place where everything is provided such as a well equipped kitchen, a washing machine.
