Staying at Amber's house was great! She and her husband are very welcoming and very easy-going. We talked on and off before to verify I knew where I was going and why I needed to check in before sundown. I didn't see the need, but their house is quite the climb up a steep and windy rode. I'm very glad I listened to her suggestion. Room and bathroom are adorable and perfect for (1) person or a couple people. Amber prepares breakfast which is a bonus! She's a great cook. I would go back in a heartbeat! Thanks for opening up your home. Valerie
I enjoyed my stay at Wild Woods. Amber was a wonderful host, the breakfast was delicious and a great opportunity to chat with her. The bath just made it perfect. I felt like I was part of the family right away.
Amber is a great host. Warm. Friendly. Her place is relaxing and warm. She makes a lovely breakfast. I was so surprised as I hadn't read that in her review. Great host. I would recommend her hospitality.
A wonderful host and b&b!!! Amber and Steve's home is beautiful and clean, and they were very welcoming and hospitable throughout my stay. And breakfast was amazing!
Amber's place was great. The house is perched on a hillside along a narrow road. Her two dogs are sweet and laid-back. Dog-phobics, fear not! They are not allowed in the parts with the guest rooms so there is no hair or scent if that bothers you. Amber puts on the full BnB experience from hot breakfast to the claw-foot tub in the bathroom (Chantal Suite). And amazing finials of course! There isn't really a yard or anything, but it's a short drive down the hill to town or to the nearby park and rec areas
Wild Woods is a lovely place to stay. Most comfortable stay so far in my airbnb travels. Amber is very welcoming, full of tips for dining, drinking, whatever is to ones liking. The room was immaculate, comfortable, quiet. Bathroom large, well stocked with what one needs, a clawfoot bath and shower to top it off. Breakfast was delicious (a rarity in my airbnb stays to date, having breakfast at all, that is).
The place is a bit off the main street, not far, and if you want comfort, quiet and peace, you can't do much better than here.
I've really enjoyed my stay with Amber. I loved everything; the bed linens, claw foot bathtub, TV, koi pond and the incredible views. The house was always spotless and clean. Amber and her family are also very friendly (including her cute cocker spaniels, Mocha and Latte)! They are a great resource if you are unfamiliar with the area. Amber and her husband Steve would always help me if I needed anything. I would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat.
