Huge kitchen, living room, heath tiled bathroom, and cozy bedroom will make you feel well at home among the art and plants throughout the space.
I am a full time student but travel often, the space is my home and not a full time sublet - it is mostly available for long weekends and then for longer trips.
Please be aware there is an additional cost for extra guests- I try to keep the place competitive in price for the two travellers but due to the large size I am happy to accommodate more people and act as 2 br, but the price will change with more guests- please feel free to ask for a quote and rates that work for you and I will manage each request to fit your needs!
This is a home and tended with care so please be respectful of the space, it is truly a wonderful relaxation and retreat spot, but if you want to party hard this is not your spot.
No shoes once inside the house.
Eve was great on communication and getting us into her place. The location is amazing, both magical and quiet, but also close to transport and fun things to do. It was a delight to stay, and really made our trip.
Eve was very accommodating and helpful even while she was in another country during our stay. The description was on point and the neighborhood was right in the middle of the Castro district as described. I enjoyed my stay and would book again! thanks!
Great place! If I lived in SF (which I have in the past), this would be where I would love to live. Private getaway very close to great restaurants, 2 blocks to public transportation. Situated directly adjacent to a great park with amazing views. Accurate listing description. Great price. Eve is a wonderful hostess.
A fantastic spot! Just as described in listing. Huge, great view, beautifully quiet and a convenient location (close to transit). It was a perfect place to come back to after exploring the city all day. We never met Eve in person, but all of her correspondence was lovely. Highly recommend!
The apartment was in a fantastic location with lots of shops, restaurants, and bars a short walk away. It was on a very steep hill, fine to walk but I wouldn't have wanted to try it with luggage.
The actual space was very large. Upon first walking in late at night, we thought we had accidentally booked a single room in a larger apartment because all of the space couldn't possibly have been ours! As we recognized the photos from the listing we realized it was. There were lots of plants, as others noted.
The kitchen was well stocked with glasses, pots, pans, etc. The bathroom was prepared with towels and soap and such. The bed was comfortable.
Overall a great experience. Thanks!
Eve was incredibly helpful and accommodating and her apartment is in a great location. It felt like we were staying at a friend's house. Be warned that her street is steep, but the great views from the top of the hill are worth the hike. We would definitely stay here again.
The apartment is as pictured in the listing. A ton of space to spread out and enjoy the views! A little hike up a hill to the apartment, but the neighborhood is really nice with lots of great shops and eateries and convenient to public transportation. Communication when I first booked was great, but right before our stay the check-out time was changed to an hour earlier (not a big deal, but a little inconvenient since we already had plans). Also, during our stay, the neighbor was moving stuff in/out of the garage that was connected to the apartment. We were not made aware of this or knew that anyone else had access to the apartment, so that didn't make me feel very secure. Also, the wifi was a little slow.

I am a big entertainer in my home so my kitchen is filled wtih serving platters, spices and even a couch to have guests hang around while I prepare meals. I love plants and my house is filled with them, the place has been in the family for years and has great local character. My housemate lives in a seperate apartment below and can help out with any questions during your stay.
