City Centre Convenience and Comfort

House - Private room · New Row, Dublin, Dublin 8, Ireland

The Space

This perfect city centre location down a quiet street is close to all the action. With St. Patrick's Cathedral on our doorstep and the Guinness Storehouse only a short walk if its a touristy weekend you're after you'll have time to do everything if you stay with us. The ideal location if you don't fancy wasting time, money and carbon on the bus! Transport from the airport is simple too and the bus stop is only a 5 minutes walk from the front door.

We're a ten minutes walk for Grafton Street and Temple Bar, and Christchurch and Dublinia are at the top of the street.
If it's the night life you're after Harcourt Street (where all the night clubs are) is only a 15 minute walk. Or if something more tranquil is what you're after, Phoenix Park is a 20 minute walk away.

As far as the essentials go there's a shop just around the corner with everything you might need!

If you're thinking of venturing further afield there are buses and trains to all outlying areas, making our home a great base. Malahide, Howth, Dalkey, Bray and Greystones are all within easy reach.

We've wireless internet access in the house and a kitchen you're welcome to cook in.

There's always someone around to welcome you when you arrive and to show you what's what. We'll provide you with your own set of keys and you're free to come and go as you please.

Some nights during the week we're going out, others we're staying in, whatever we're up to you're welcome to come along too :)

As far as sleeping arrangements are concerned we can offer two spacious rooms each with a double bed and a smaller room with a single bed, depending on your requirements and our availability.

You're invited to help yourself to whatever's in the fridge for breakfast at no extra cost and bed linen is provided (but not towels!). If there's anything else you need we're happy to help out! We usually take up to three guests but we can sometimes accommodate more!

Looking forward to welcoming you soon :)

  • I had good time, Ciara was friendly but unfortunately I was busy and out all the time so we didn't talk a lot!
The location is just 10 mins walk from the center of Dublin, the place fine and definitely recommendable!

  • A student run house which is in a good convenient location. Its clean and cheap but running out of tea bags and toilet paper is a no no for a place trying to run as a B&B. I had made my booking weeks in advance so no excuse for lack of supplies. There are fabulous B&B places out there is Ireland but this one gets a must try harder in its report card.

  • Nice home, nice bedrooms, nice host. City centre is only 15 mn walk :)
I would come back here without hesitation!

    May 2013
  • The hosts are young, sweet and friendly. Good place for young and easy going travellers. We do not feel to suggest this option for families, especially with very young children.

    May 2013
  • The room is big and comfy. You can walk 10 minutes and be at the very center of Dublin!

Ciara is a great fun host full of energy and overall good very positive vibe.

The only sad part was having to leave!

About
Hey! I'm Ciara and I discovered airbnb.com about two years ago now. Since I now have my own place in Dublin I'd love to share it with anyone who'd like to discover our city. I speak French and recently started learning Spanish and love it! I love to travel and dream of spending this summer working in America. Last summer I worked in France and had the time of my life...life's all about the adventures and the people you meet! I've travelled Western Europe but I'm hoping to explore more of the East soon with a trip to Oslo on the cards in a few weeks! Any visitors from near or far would be gladly and warmly welcomed and if I can at all I'll help out with whatever site seeing or partying you want to do! I love swimming, rock climbing, cooking and summer :)
