The apartment was excellent! Amazing location, and the roof terrace was perfect for enjoying the sunset and spectacular views. Francesco was incredibly helpful and very welcoming. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we are in Florence.
Fantastic apartment. The best location in Florence literally. Very well priced. Such helpful and considerate hosts. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone. We stayed as a couple and it was perfect.
We were able to walk to the apt. from the train station. Francesco met us when we got there. He spoke very good English so this was helpful. The apt. is on the third floor, which is actually the fourth floor as they count the bottom level as ground level and the next level up as the first. The terrace upstairs from the apt. is great. It has a nice view of the area and it is just really nice to sit up there. The apt. is air conditioned and very nice. Everything is within walking distance. We only stayed a couple of nights, but enjoyed ourselves very much.
Francesco was the most welcoming and friendly host and made our stay very comfortable - he even left biscuits, coffee and milk for us to enjoy. The apartment itself is gorgeous, very comfortable and has everything you need. We enjoyed cooking for ourselves in the kitchen, and enjoying the meal over beautiful sunset view of Florence on the terrace balcony! It's also in a perfect location, close to the station and all the main attractions. One of our favourite stays in all of Europe! We will definitely be back.
Francesco the host met us at the agreed time
Gave us plenty of information about the city, it was great to have some coffee and milk waiting for us after a long journey
We both just loved the apartment, it is unique in a very good way, and to sit on the roof terrace in the evening with some bier and wine is fantastic.
The apartment it 3 minutes walk from the main station on a quiet street, which was good, and centrally located for the city, unfortunately we only booked 4 night and did not have time to see everything in this beautiful city, however, I would recommend you require to be able to walk up 3 floors (Italian levels not UK ) as you are up in the skies.
Francesco was there to greet us at the arranged time, and made us feel very welcome. The apartment is as pictured and very comfortable. Terrace is very pleasant. Excellent location - close to the main sites, central market, some nice bars and places to eat, and the train station. A really nice neighbourhood. would return and highly recommend.
About the Host, Francesco
I'm a photographer and journalism professor here in Florence.
I love traveling and meeting other people. Reportage is one of my deepest interests as it brings you towards other people and other places.
We can definitely chat for hours about photography, and I'd be glad to walk around Florence for a quick walk & shoot session if we have time!
I also love cooking, the fresh veggy market is just around the corner, and when summer arrives there is generally a barbecue on the terrace every other weekend and hosts are invited!
