Interaction with Guests
I live in a granny flat at the back of the house and am generally around for assistance or coffee and conversations.
The neighbourhood has been established for about 50 years and is very quiet and friendly.
There are bus stops at the end of the street that will take you into town (about 10 minutes) or to the local shopping centre (2 minutes) but it is easier by car.
This is a strictly non smoking house. The main house rules are to be considerate of others and to clean up after yourself in the kitchen and bathroom.
From Dec 01, 2015 - Feb 29, 2016 the minimum stay is 2 nights.
Jan's place is wonderful! A very homely home and a perfect place to arrive at the end of the Great Ocean Road. The room was huge and had a large comfy bed. Everything was immaculately clean. Jan welcomed us with great info about the area - we went to see Kangaroos at Tower Hill!
The host was very welcoming, she gave us great advice on interesting sights nearby, and gave us a good recommendation for a wonderful Thai restaurant in town.
The house was very clean, neat, and looked recently renovated. Because the better room in the house had no one staying in it at the moment, Jan offered us to upgrade our stay free of charge. We immediately felt very comfortable after the long tiring journey that we had.
Sorry we didn't meet you ,but lovely cosy room and great hospitality.

About the Host, Jan
I live in Warrnambool, Victoria, Australia in a granny flat at the back of the house. I also work full time for a local engineering firm and spend most of my days chasing the pet dog and enjoying a leisurely life. The best part of the Airbnb experience that I enjoy is meeting all of the diverse people who come through my door. The coffee and conversations all make people memorable. The worst thing about Airbnb is the fact that I crave to travel again. There is always next year.
