This room has a double bed for private use. The kitchen, bathroom and lounge/dining are all shared. You may be lucky and have the whole house to yourself or share with 6 or 7 other travellers. You can be as friendly or as secluded as you like.
Each bedroom has an individual lock to ensure security and privacy. You get a key which opens your door and the front door so you can come and go as you please.
Each bedroom is private but the rest of the house and yard are to be shared with whoever happens to be in residence at the time.

I live in a granny flat at the back of the house and am generally around for assistance or coffee and conversations.
The neighbourhood has been established for about 50 years and is very quiet and friendly.
There are bus stops at the end of the street that will take you into town (about 10 minutes) or to the local shopping centre (2 minutes) but it is easier by car.
This is a strictly non smoking house. The main house rules are to be considerate of others and to clean up after yourself in the kitchen and bathroom.
Jan was at the doorstep the moment we arrived, welcoming us in to her home and showing us around as well as introducing us to her lovely family. The house was extremely well kept and loved, clean, tidy and everything you'd hope for from a night's stay. She even recommended a very nice place to get some takeaway and was a pleasure to chat to, sharing her travelling stories and offering us much needed cups of tea! It provided a great stop after being on the Great Ocean Road for a day before heading up to the Grampians the following day, a perfect location! Jan even had some helpful leaflets and maps on hand for us to take with us.
I'd definitely recommend staying here, from the lovely town, well presented house, clean and well kept facilities and relaxing room, there is nothing more you could want or need.
Jan is a warmly host. The house is very clean and comfortable. A good place for stay after visiting The Great Ocean Road.
A comfy bed, great company and good traveling advice. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived and it was a great place to relax. Also a great location from which to explore the area, Port Fairy and the great ocean road. Thank you!
Jan was very welcoming and I had a very pleasant stay there. The centre of Warnembool is delightful, so interesting, and worth spending time exploring.
Jan is very welcoming and helpful. The house is lovely and big. Super comfy bed and a lovely clean bathroom. Would stay again. Thank you!
Jan was most hospitable, welcoming with an invitation to join her family for a meal. The neighbourhood was quiet and the room was cosy. Lovely stay.
Jan was very welcoming, and the room and stay was exactly what I expected. I honestly had the best sleep I'd had in weeks! A good 9 hours and it was so comfortable. My sleep cycle app rated it at 89%. :)
The place is easy to find and minutes away from everything. Lovely house and friendly people.

I live in Warrnambool, Victoria, Australia in a granny flat at the back of the house. I also work full time for a local engineering firm and spend most of my days chasing the pet dog and enjoying a leisurely life. The best part of the Airbnb experience that I enjoy is meeting all of the diverse people who come through my door. The coffee and conversations all make people memorable. The worst thing about Airbnb is the fact that I crave to travel again. There is always next year.
