The apartment is large, 70m with huge bedroom, living room with a balcony and a kitchen that fits a dining table. The style is a combination of 50's scandinavian design, original kitchen cupboards from the 70's and some wall decorations and furniture from a french interior designer. Styles are fused into an original and stylish over all design.
There is a king size bed in the bedroom and a sleeping couch in the living room. The kitchen is equipped for cooking breakfast and dinner.
The flat is situated in the 4th floor of a building with no elevator. It is very sunny having windows to 3 (website hidden) has 2 rooms, a bathroom, a balcony and a kitchen. Total surface is 70m2. There is a flat screen tv and a wireless internet connection in the appartment. There is also a telescope in the living room for taking a look at the Tempelhof.
In this area you can enjoy the multi-cultural vibe, which is created from the mix of the locals with different backrounds. It is a genuine and vibrant area, with more and more cafes, shops and bars. The closest u-bahn station is Boddinstrasse, at 3min walk away. Alexanderplatz is 15 min away by the metro, and the vibrant Kreuzberg is 10 min walk away.
The approximity of the Tempelhofer Park makes this apartment an ideal option for those who love the outdoors. The park is the new favourite of the Berliners for running, roller skating, kite flying, and BBQs in the summertime! And even if you are not up for sports you can admire the field from the balcony with its fabulous sun sets every evening.

Aino place was perfect. If you haven't tried Neukoln before or you didn't like it, so you should try this apartment and this location. Quite close to U-bahn station, very calm streets and right behind the entrance to Tempelhof park.
Takling about apartment - it's very spacious, haven't seen that apartments in Berlin before. There is a lot of light inside, balcony and very cool furniture. Like!
Aino made us very welcome, meeting us at the flat and explaining everything we needed to know. The location is superb and the flat has an amazing view over the airfield. The flat was spacious and warm when we visited in early April. It was quiet at night for a good night's sleep. We left bikes in the courtyard overnight and it felt secure. The local shops and eating houses are great and an evening stroll in the airfield is a lovely end to the day.
We had a wonderful stay in Aino's flat. A truly understated, stylish flat with everything we needed for a short city break. We loved the immediate area with a great range of quirky bars and restaurants and shops. The flat was incredibly quiet with no noise from neighbours or traffic. Aino gave us a beautiful map of the area she had crafted herself which not only was extremely useful was also a true work of art we now have as a memory of our 3 days in Berlin. Aino was a great host and very welcoming but left us to our own devises after the initial tour. Such a relief to stay somewhere with original furniture and not Ikea flat pack!
We would definitely recommend this flat. It has amazing furniture and art, from a mixture of 20th century periods but with a cohesive style. Also, the light that streams through the flat on a sunny afternoon has to be seen to be believed.
It is a large flat, very clean and has everything you might need - cooking equipment, hairdryer, TV, radio, etc and even a telescope!
It's in a nice kiez - not *too gentrified yet but with good amenities - within walking distance of several nice cafes, bars and restaurants. We had lovely Swedish-style waffles from the café just around the corner, and a great Korean take-away from a cabin with a tree growing through the roof...!
Aino is very welcoming and helpful. She did mix up dates and could not let us stay at the flat the first night we had originally booked, but went out of her way to put it right - she let us stay in her own flat that night instead (giving us the place to ourselves), which was super-nice of her considering that she had never done this before. She also helped us with a few problems we experienced during our stay (baggage lost by our airline, etc).
Aino I have to say, was an absolutely incredible host. Her recommendations for cafés and restaurants in the area were wonderful. Engels is a must, service is heat and the food is beautiful. And the burgers from Schillers are to die for. The area is culturally enriching and to come back to an apartment that feels like home is even better at the end of the day. Mrs Black House is the best house in Berlin. Can not wait to return to Berlin and to Aino's home.
We were very impressed with Aino's apartment, and had a wonderful stay here. The apartment was incredible value for money, and its unique and beautiful decor really added to our experience. The flat is huge, cosy and spotlessly clean, with incredible views over Tempelhof Park!
Aino was friendly and communicative throughout, and we would strongly reccommend her apartment to future airbnb guests!
Aino's apartment is very clean and big, and there is everything you can need during your stay in Berlin. If you need some tips about the neighborhood or the city, she is completely available to help you. I recommend her apartment!
