The Space

We'll be glad to welcom you in our lovely house, very near Buttes Chaumont and Canal Saint Martin. You'll have your own bedroom, small but cosy, and will be able to enjoy the full house and the courtyard. The neighbourhood is really nice and lively (2 min from metro Laumière), very easy to join from any part of Paris (Montmartre is 15 mins and Bastille 20 mins by metro), full of tasty food shops and nice walking tours. If you want to visit, you'll just have to ask me all my tips !

You'll find Wi-Fi, sheets, towels, soap, hairdryer.

To arrive from airport or train station is very easy, and it take around 60min from airports. From Gare du nord or Gare de l'est it takes 15 min.

  • Assia & Claudio are the warmest of hosts. Their house is incredibly spacious by Paris standards, located in the courtyard between two appartment blocks, in a neighbourhood that is exciting for its lack of trendiness in spite of being just a stone's throw away from wildly romantic Buttes Chaumont Parc and the bars of Bassin de la Villette.

  • Assia and her partner Claudio are wonderful hosts, their home is very welcoming and spacious. Their location is very close to the metro which is very convenient, we also tried a few restaurants in the area and they were great! Their location is also very close to the water if you enjoying walking along the river. We truly enjoyed our stay!

  • My brother and I stayed at Assia big and comfy place for 3 days. The place was beautiful and Assia (email hidden)! She left a big breakfast for us with different types of bread and jelly, eggs, cereal, yogurt, juice, milk, coffee and fruits. Couldn't ask for more! Her place is 2 blocks away from the metro station, getting there and moving around was very easy. The place is very close to Parc La Villette, which was amazing. Our only regret was staying for only 3 days. If we go back to Paris, we'll definitely stay with Assia again!

  • Stayed at Assia's for 4 nights and was bowled over by the warm hospitality shown to us by Assia and her partner Claudio. There was great coffee and breakfast waiting for us every morning and they even invited us to join them for lunch and the neighborhood barbecue.

The house is well located next to the metro station so it was easy to get around Paris and it is located close to Canal St Martin and 2 parks - Park Villette and Buttes Chamomt, perfect during summer.

The bedroom, though not big, is perfect for 2 people and you get to experience living with a French family, not to forget to mention the adorable cat Leone.

  • Assia, Claudio & not to forget Leone - the lively cat - made my stay very much feel at home in Paris. They are great hosts! The house is near to the "Le Bassin de la Villette" & Canal Saint Martin" area and perfectly connected to the train stations Gare du Nord and Gare de L'Est. Beautiful house, nice & clean room, great (italian) coffee and (french) croissant in the morning - would love to come back!

  • Assia's flat (email hidden) to call home while in Paris. It's very close to the metro but not in a tourist area. Although I wasn't home much, Assia was so welcoming and kind and helped me out with any travel tips that I needed. The bedroom is clean and quaint. She made a great breakfast every morning. I loved Paris, my stay at Assia's and I loved her super cute cat Leone! I would highly recommend her and her accommodations. Thanks so much Assia!

  • Assia's place was fantastic! Spacious and bright, the house was an ideal home base for our time in Paris. Close to the metro but also located in an interesting and eclectic neighbourhood, I'd highly recommend staying here. Assia is a wonderful, accommodating host and sets a fantastic breakfast table!
