Interaction with Guests
I will be available by phone throughout your stay and will hope to meet you upon arrival in case there are any questions about the house. I live close by so it's easy to come over if needed.
Bayou St. John is a safe, quiet neighborhood that's still close to all of the excitement downtown. For those looking for exercise there are yoga classes in the neighborhood and peaceful walks out in nature - the Bayou and City Park are excellent places to walk, jog or to get a workout. Restaurants, coffee shops, and groceries are all in walking distance.
Its an easy walking neighborhood with everything you need within a few blocks. You can also just jump on the street car to get downtown or take a five minute drive to the city center. Bicycles are available for rent nearby and the city has close to 100 miles of bike lanes. You can also walk over to city park and rent a boat if you just want to relax and float around for a while!
Other Things to Note
Your vacation is also a charitable donation! 25% of income made from your rental will be donated to the Louisiana Himalaya Association, a local non-profit dedicated to social work services for Tibetan Refugees. Please see their website for more information: (website hidden)
