Fremstafell is a old farm house newly renovated located in north east iceland about 45 min drive from Akureyri and 50 min from lake Mývatn registration number HG-(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)

The great waterfall Goðafoss is near by. You can visit the legendary lake Mývatn and Dimmuborgir and go whale watching in Húsavík. All these places are in less than one and a half hour away. Lake Mývatn 30 min. away.

Groceries, swimmingpools and laundry We recommend that you buy groceries in Akureyri or Húsavík before you arrive and wine is only sold in special stores. Here you can find the opening hours in the nearest wine stores: (URL HIDDEN) By Goðafoss there is a shop where you can buy absolute necessities and another one with more product range in Laugar, called Dalakofinn, 15 min. away (drive by Goðafoss, over the heath and turn right). In Dalakofinn there is also a restaurant with hamburgers, pizza and such. The nearest swimming-pools with hot tubs are in Hotel Edda, Stórutjarnir, 10 min. away (a small one) and another nice one in Laugar, 15 min. away. The nearest laundry service is in Akureyri
