Well-located, comfortable studio apartment in the emblematic Roma Norte, perfect home base for tourists to explore the city from or those who are coming to the 21st century Medical Center. Within walking distance: restaurants, galleries, parks, monuments, markets and shops. Sleeping: bed + futon.
It is important to note that during the day there is noise: barking from the veterinary clinic, honking from cars, noise from the neighbors' children, so it is not the ideal space for home office.
The space
This apartment was renovated last year specifically with Airbnb guests in mind and we kept the original tile floors and wooden ceilings because they were just too beautiful to replace!
The apartment itself is one small step up from the ground floor and well equiped with a kitchen complete with a water filter, fridge, stove, oven, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, rice cooker, and panini maker. The living room/dining room has a great four person table from which you can eat, work, or plan your trips, and the bedroom is perfect for resting up for your next adventures. The bathroom, one step up from the bedroom, has deliciously hot water and is equipped with shampoo, lotion, and soap for your convenience. Outside of the kitchen there is a small private patio where you can enjoy your coffee or breakfast.
The apartment is in a small community of apartments, which are set up kind of townhouse style (all have doors to the exterior passageway). The passageway is gated, and only guests and neighbors have a key.
Extras provided: extra blankets for if you get cold, space heater, soap and shampoo, lotion, iron, TV with a Netflix account already set up.

Neighborhood highlights
The Roma neighborhood is one of the most popular and best located neighborhoods in Mexico City and there are many incredible places in walking distance from the apartment.
Right in front of the apartment building there is an incredible Asian fusion restaurant. Two blocks down is the street Alvaro Obregon which has lots more restaurants, cafés, tea houses, galleries, and cute shops. There are 4 parks within a 10 minute walk, and la Condesa, the other most popular neighborhood, is also in walking distance (about 20 minutes). There you can explore the beautiful Amsterdam street, Parque Mexico and Parque España, all complete with wonderful restaurants and cute cafes as well.

We are a married couple who love hosting and providing travelers with a well located, comfortable, and private space from which to explore the city. We took a break from renting our space on Airbnb for 4 years, but are excited to start again!
