  • The casita was the perfect set up for our short stay in Santa Barbara. Mark, Jen and their kids were warm hosts and great to talk to. They gave us some great recs. The casita was comfortable, clean and private. We'll be back!

  • The cosy casita was the perfect spot to explore Santa Barbara. The room is very private with lots of cute little touches like tea and coffee making facilities. We only met Mark and Jen briefly, but they were so lovely and welcoming. We really enjoyed the use of the bikes, and the area was so easy to get around. Only a 10 minute ride to the beach or the main high street. Would definitely stay here again!

  • Mark and Jen's place was exactly what we were looking for. It's a small bedroom with attached bath and very private because it's not actually attached to the house (it's in a converted garage).

Mark and Jen were also very nice and friendly folks! They were prepared with wireless internet and a list of restaurant recommendations, and let us eat our takeout on their porch and offered us bicycles for the morning. I loved their backyard -- it was a great place to relax.

We also liked the neighborhood -- there's a ton of good taco places in walking distance.

  • We stayed a couple nights and wished it could have been longer. Bed was so comfy, and sitting in the garden under the shaded avocado tree was very relaxing. Neighborhood was especially quiet and peaceful. We slept in with windows closed as room was cool enough. Shower was great and felt very private. Plenty of parking in front. Mark and Jen are friendly and thoughtful too. We appreciated having tea and coffee makers available. We liked walking to food market and restaurants so close nearby. We walked to the Carr winery and Telegraph brewery / comedy show with BBQ food wagon. We drove to the waterfront, easy to find free parking, $4 harbor cruise, good views and lots of birds with a sandy beach. We ate well at House of India, enjoyed a happy hour and sandwiches at Chase Restaurant and Lounge. Just total fun weekend here! Enjoy!!

  • We only have nice things to say about the casita: well located, perfectly clean, and so cosy! The Warren family was extremely nice to us, even though we arrived at 9.00 pm. Great experience!

  • We had a wonderful stay at La Casita! Mark and Jen were great and very accommodating to our arrival time and privacy. We came in and out as we pleased without feeling like we were imposing as La Casita is a room unattached to the main house. Santa Barbara was beautiful, weather was great and the location was just a cab ride away from State St. We'd definitely stay here again next time we visit!

  • Jenn and Mark's little casita lived up to its name. It is peaceful, comfortable, quaint and super clean. The added touches and details made it super hospitable. A sweet little home away from home. Thank you Jenn and Mark for your kindness and hospitality - we will definitely be back! :-)
