Beautiful space, great for a long-term stay....available starting Feb. 6, 2014...upstairs with a shared entrance but feels like your own apartment...quiet house....close to bus lines, close to Mt. Tabor, close to great neighborhoods in Portland.
Space is in the newly remodeled upstairs of my 1910 Bungalow.
This is a simple yet elegant studio space with a kitchenette and private bath in the upstairs of my friendly home. It is furnished with a double bed (bedding included) and a small table to use either as a desk or to eat on. The kitchenette is set up to cook small meals and has a small refrigerator.
Located in SE Portland near Division Street and the Hawthorne District (less than 2 miles away). It is only 1 mile away from Mount Tabor, a great hiking and jogging park. Our neighborhood is an up and coming neighborhood in Portland and there are several places to eat within close walking distance. Quiet and friendly house that would be great for a long term stay. A pleasant back deck is available for use for having morning coffee, a glass of wine or an evening barbeque. Wireless access.
We are happy to share with you the ins and outs of Portland and the surrounding area. We can make recommendations for Portland's best restaurants, cultural events, and local hikes. We speak basic German and Spanish. Airport pickup is available for $25 (taxi costs $35).
Currently looking for a summer renter, starting June 1. This would be a great place to rent for a temporary stay in Portland.
Laundry facilities, need a bike?, Mt. Tabor, parking on street, close to buslines...

Shannon is a friendly, easy going host. The guest space is roomy and (email hidden)ere is also a nice back patio, great for eating, reading, or just relaxing. Shannon responds quickly to requests for information or help. Her home is within blocks of 3 different public bus lines which worked well for me since I don't have a car. It's a good place to stay.
Absolutely loved this place! It's nice and private, the bed is new and very comfortable, and very close to bus stops. I would stay there again if it's available next time I'm in town. Thank you Shannon!
