It is a nice place if you seek for a little privacy, away from the city bustle. The check-in worked very easily and without any problems. The AC is definitely missing and makes the stay admittedly less comfortable. We have to add as well that some things such as the kitchen equipment were not too clean and unfortunately the staff didn't come over to change our towels nor to clean the villa during a whole week. Anyway, the staff is incredibly friendly!

Response from Patrice:
Thank you Lara Vanessa for your comments. The kitchen equipments have been since replaced with new ones. As for the AC, the house is advertised without it. Given Ubud's location, the weather is generally cooler that on the coast and south of Bali. We have decided to install ceiling and standing fans instead for a more eco-friendly approach and to reduce our environmental footprint. With respect to the towels, it was an unfortunate situation. Wayan, our housekeeper, would have been happy to supply you with fresh ones if you would have asked her or myself for follow-up. Overall, I am glad that you found the place nice and the staff friendly!

We stayed for a month in this beautiful spacious villa surrounded by fishponds. We cooled down in the pool multiple times a day. We enjoyed the quite environment and recommend to get the daily young coconut delivery. However, the villa needs some maintenance attention. The glass doors, for example, were difficult to open and there are some broken tiles around the pool. Unfortunately we also had several times a broken water supply. Wayan, our housekeeper, was always quick and helpful. Even though these inconveniences, we enjoyed staying there a lot!

Response from Patrice:
We are pleased to hear that you have enjoyed your stay. It is unfortunate that you did not brought to our attention these inconveniences before the end of you stay. We will take appropriate measures. With regards to the broken water supply, it was a problem that affected the whole neighborhood and beyond our control. We did offer to order gallons of water until until the situation returned to normal. Again, thank you for your constructive feedback and comments. Patrice

This villa was everything I wished for my first Bali experience and more. Situated in Penestanan Village outside of Ubud, the place provided close proximity to the city as well as a private sanctuary to reflect. There's a magnificent cafe and yoga studio a minute from the house. The house itself was exactly like the pictures. I swam multiple times a day in the pool (such a great way to cool off). The outdoor shower is surrounded by a koi pond - truly spectacular. The hospitality was above and beyond. My driver, Eka, was arranged through Patrice. Eka is a great tour guide. The house managers, Ketut and Wayan - went above and beyond. I'm so moved by their generosity. I will definitely be back!

Very nice house in a quiet residential location, easily walkable to many areas in the city.

I could not meet Patrice personally but she was very helpful from the start. I stayed in the house for a month. The house caretaker Ketut and her family took very good care of me. The house was very comfortable and clean with almost everything I need. It is in a neighbourhood dominated by foreign tourists. It takes 6-8 minutes to walk to the main road. It is a narrow road with has natural beauty as well as natural inhabitants. I felt a little bit uncomfortable walking at night. Otherwise it was very nice. It also takes half an hour to walk to Ubud Center. I loved my stay in general.
