We rent out a small room in our flat. It has 14 square meters and usually is my office. A very comfortable mattress on the floor will be your bed.
The house dates back to the 1870s and has very high ceilings and wooden floors with a spacious and warm atmosphere. The living room, the fully equipped kitchen, the (tiny) bathroom and the toilet are shared. There's also a balcony towards the green and quiet backyard where you can smoke. We don't have any pets.
Our flat is located in a very quiet area of the city, but still everything is within 20 minutes by foot. The next tramway station is 5 minutes away and buses to/from the train station run 200m away. You can park your car directly in front of the building. During business hours (Mon-Fri 8am-6.30pm, Sat 8am-3pm) there's a fee of 2€/h, all other times are free of charge. Another free of charge parking space is 800m away, availability changes during the day. There's also a garage nearby for 1€/h and max 13€/day. More free parking lots are easily reachable with public transportation.
We provide wireless internet access and you can borrow a 3G mobile SIM card for your smartphone, which includes 20MB data traffic per day.
After booking you get an automated email from airbnb with all the needed details (directions, telephone numbers, etc.). If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask!
I came for a week to linz to visit the Ars-electronica festival. the interaction trough the web was smooth and quick and they even helped me to find solution cause they did had vacancy for the whole period. the room was clean and sweet, and it really is an exciting experience to find such nice people through the web, and airbnb, it just makes people closer from around the world. i'll never go to a hotel again!!.
highly recomended :) and i had a lovely time.
My husband and i had a great stay with Sebastian. The apartment was spotless, nicely decorated and had a very homely feel. Location was perfect too, right in-between the train station and the city. Sebastian was very helpful with advice on where to eat and drink (and even where to buy sneakers). Sebastian and his partner were very nice people and i would recommend anyone to stay with them.
Sebastian and Jenny are wonderful hosts. They were so helpful with directions and suggestions of places to go and eat. My husband even enjoyed a beer together with Sebastian - great bread and marmalade too. The room was clean, bright and welcoming. We would come back for sure. August 2013
We stayed one night at Sebastian's place and he was a great host . He gave us maps of Linz and advised us on things to do . He even went out of this way to help me repair my charger cable . The room and apartment was very clean and had towels and even some chocolates waiting for us when we arrived . Location was also very good , Walking distance from the old town and main street . Definitely recommend staying at Sebastian's .
We stayed one night just to visit Linz and it was very comfortable. We also got great tips from our hosts concerning journey and our time in Linz.
Sebastian & Jenny were wonderful hosts. They were very relaxed, helpful and friendly. I stayed for one night. They made me very welcome & took me to a music festival! ;0) I really enjoyed their apt and the room I stayed in. And I totally liked their eclectic and tasteful decorating esthetic. I hope to see them again either in Linz or New York City!
our stay with sebastian was excellent value and a good time. everything went quiet smoothly during our stay. an added bonus was the we were able to use two of their bicycles. the apartment backs up to a twice a week farmers market which has a few permeant stands open daily. we went there daily for our morning coffees hanging with the locals, quite quaint. yet the apartment was only minutes to the old city district where all the action takes place. sebastian was always at the ready to help us with suggestions and advice that made our stay wonderful.
Apartment is clean and close to the centre. Host is friendly. Downsides are that there is no real bed but a matras on the floor. a very small shower/bathroom to which you had to go trough the kitchen which felt a bit uncomfortable. Bear in mind that parking is not free here. We paid 42 euro for 2 persons which is too much.
I had a great stay with Sebastin & Jenny. The apartment is clean, tidy, bright, quiet, and tastefully decorated. The room itself provides sufficient privacy. I will happily book again when I'm in Linz.
Home is beautiful and clean. Checkin was easy. Location is great (a scenic 18 minute walk from Linz Hbf). Hosts were friendly, conversational and helpful. Gave me some great tips on which restaurants to go to. Allowed me to keep my luggage there for a few hours before my departing train. Altogether, great deal.
