This modern and spacious Double-Room offers a variety of possibilities for every Ireland Traveller. If it is exploring Dublin or the inner Country-side, this perfectly located room will make the stay a comfy one.
Hi airbnb Community, i offer a modern and spacious Double Room in a safe and lovely area next to the famous Guiness Storehouse and the Phoenix Park. The bedroom is fully furnished and has an ensuite bathroom.
The spacious room offers a comfortable space for two people and has an ensuite bathroom with a rainshower. The room and the bathroom are fully renovated and fully equipped in a modern style.
The Apartment is very close to several famous Hotspots
of Dublin. The Guiness Storehouse is a stones-throw away and the Irish Museum of Modern Art or the Medieval Area of Christchurch as well. The beautiful Phoenix Park is in walking distance and the Dublin Sightseeing Bus routes have three own hop on/hop off stops only 2-3 minutes away from the apartment. The Airlink will bring you from Airport directly to Heuston Station, which is 3min away from the apartment and Dublin's main train station to explore the countryside. The tram line Red Luas connects guests with the City Centre in about 10min. But Dublin is not very big, so it is also very nice to do a 20min walk down the river Liffey quays to the city centre and Temple Bar. It is a perfect place for Tourist travellers as well as for business travellers.
Guests will have their own bathroom and also have access to the Kitchen and the Living Room to prepare food, eat or chill out, if the room is not necessary in use. Furthermore you'll have access to the Washdryer which can be used for an additional 4 Euro per washing. Fresh Linen and Towels will be provided during your stay. There is a stabile WIFI Connection (200MB) where guests will have access to as well.
Kilmainham is a very old traditional Dublin district. The Royal Hospital of St. James and his beautifully landscaped park is inviting for a walk and also to linger. Small canals of the River Liffey meandering through centuries-old streets. Kilmainham is a very picturesque place. It is a very central, but very quiet and archetypal neighborhood. Earlier, the military was stationed here and the Guinness staff had their little cottage settlements, which are still inhabited. It is worth to walk through this neighborhood one morning and enjoy the Old Dublin.
The Heuston station is the main station of Dublin and is equipped with excellent links to the city centre. Of course, there are trains to the countryside as well, to get to the coasts or especially Cork, Limerick and Kilkenny.
Several bus lines and especially the fast Tram Red Luas will get you to City Centre in 10-15min. During the day it goes in 5-10min distances and brings you to the City Centre in a comfortable and cheap way. (Stop Jervis or Abbey Street)
Heuston station is also one of the best connections to the Airport. You have the Airlink bus or a Taxi Stand right around the house. Airlink takes 40-45min (6 Euro), a Cab will bring you there in 20-25min. (approx. 20 Euro)
I am an open minded and communicative person, living and working in Dublin :) Have made a lot of trips on airbnb and want to give something back to the community by being a great host. Feel free to ask any questions you have! Looking forward to welcome my guests and make their stay memorable!
