A good size room, with a very comfy queen size bed and a full size closet in a beautifull house.
A shared bathroom. Everything is very clean.
Steps to the public trans.

•Gerta was super friendly and made me feel quite welcome. Don’t be afraid of their German shepherd dog who is actually quite sweet.
•My room was comfortable and roomy.
•They had one power strip in the room, but it didn’t work. Since I used my computer and other electronic devices that required charging, it was a good thing I brought my own power strip.
•The kitchen was nice and it was easy to prepare my food easily. The refrigerator was quite full, however, and it was pretty challenging to fit my food in it.
•They ran out of paper towels on the second day I was there. Good thing I brought my own because when I checked out on the fourth day, I didn’t see a new roll of paper towels yet.
•Same with the wastebasket under the sink. I would have liked to empty the wastebasket and put in a fresh trash bag, but I couldn’t find any. The wastebasket was pretty much full the whole time I was there.
•There was a bedside table with a lamp on it, but there was no place to plug in the lamp. I went to the store and bought an extension cord.
•The shower was quite unusual and the water flow was pretty minimal, but it’s an old house. The bathroom, overall, was roomy and nice. And there were clean towels and wash cloths.
•If you are heavy and out of shape, prepare yourself for a lot of climbing (up four flights of stairs). But I took it on as a challenge and I think I might have lost some weight too.
•There was no off-street parking available. It was a designated “snow emergency” the four days I was there so I had to park in a public parking lot and walk down a road and then up a hill to get to the house. Because of the unusual frequency of snowstorms, I found myself doing a lot of walking down narrow streets without plowed sidewalks. Again, I treated it like an opportunity for exercise.
•My neighbors (in rooms near mine) were nice but weren’t comfortable speaking English, so I didn’t really have the benefit of talking or socializing with any of the other airbnb people in the house.
•I didn’t see any public space for watching TV. But I was very pleased with the internet wifi signal. It was strong and I enjoyed watching movies on my Kindle Fire tablet in bed.
Gerta's place is great. We had a great time there. Be sure to check out the sea when you are there. Thank you Gerta for your kindness and hospitality.
Thanks to Gerta... The stay was great... Very Helpful Host...nice and quiet area
Nice room in a nice house in a beautiful neighbourhood. It's easy to get there even by public transport and it is near the sea. We really enjoyed our trip and recommend this host.
The whole family were lovely to stay with, all very helpful and always telling us the best way to get places and recommending things for us to do. Gerta told us to take a trip to deer island on the first day and it was beautiful!
What was especially nice was Gerta bringing two plates of food and two bottles up to our room on thanksgiving day; we couldn't have asked for a better host.
This is a really sweet house to live in Boston. My friend and I are satisfied with this trip. And the landlord is really nice and helpful.
