Tern II is located on NW side of Mount Desert Island with 3 bedrooms, 3 baths in the main house. A separate1 bedroom, 1 bath cottage is availble for $250. A private dock and pebble beach is yours for swimming or launching your canoe or kayak. Spectacular sunsets are viewed from the deck. Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, Northeast Harbor, Southwest Harbor are all easy access. Enjoy this undisturbed quiet cove with abundant wild life: seals, porpoises, loons, bald eagles, ospreys, and starfish

The space
Tern II is a comfortable oceanfront cedar cottage located on NW side of Mount Desert Island with 3 bedrooms, 3 baths in the main house and an additional separate private 1 bedroom, 1 bath studio is availble for $250 for additional guests. A private dock and pebble beach for swimming or launching your canoe or kayak. This is a kayaker's, hiker's and nature lover's dream come true. The water-side deck is huge and perfect for spectacular sunset viewing while feasting on freshly steamed lobster as you watch the sun set behind Blue Hill. Tern II is located on the waterfront with 10 private acres of Maine woods and a gorgeous view overlooking the islands as the tide quietly slips in and out and the Harbor Seals vie for their spot on Seal Rock. Scenic Somesville is the nearest town. Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, Northeast Harbor, Southwest Harbor and Bass Harbor are all easy access. Enjoy this undisturbed quiet cove with abundant wild life: seals, porpoises, loons, bald eagles, ospreys, and starfish.

Guest access
The entire house is available to guests including a game room with piano and a large living area with fantastic views. A separtate cottage is available for $250.

Other things to note
Bookings are available in weekly increments checking in on Saturday and checking out on Saturday from June through September. Bookings in March, April, and October are 4 day minimums any day of the week.
Kayaks are available to rent for $100 ea per week
