First of all Lesley is a fantastic host and I think thats one of the most important things about a Airbnb stay. You are made to feel welcome and at home. Lots of friendly animals aswell. Towels and soaps, shampoos are provided. Bedroom is cosy and clean with coffe or tea provided. Breakfast was hearty with homemade pastries. The house is in a very picturesque valley but don´t make my mistake, you should rent a car. The area is great for hiking and Israel is a small country so i would make this trip again but of course with a car the next time.
We had a wonderful time at Lesley's place. My partner has talked a lot with her about all kinds of subjects and they laughed a lot. She was also very helpfull with finding solutions when we asked her for help. The breakfast was delicious. Not only fresh rolls also fresh orange juice and really great coffee. It was lovely to sit on the balcony with a beautiful view
If you want to meet the most charming person in Israel, if you also want to taste the best cookies in the world, and if you additionaly want to sleep like in heaven, then you should be a guest Lesley. Lesley's house is not just a gorgeous accomodation, we were welcomed as guests and we left as friends. We had the best stay we could imagine during our journey through Israel.
We will never forget those fantastic days we spent with Lesley, her husband Menny and her lovely dogs. Daniel+Jenni.
Have just returned to Australia after an awesome stay at Lesley and Menny's Tuscany in Galilee. We are missing them already. Lesley and Menny, you made us feel so 'at home' from the very first moment we walked in the door and the night time chats over a glass of wine are something we will remember fondly. You were so helpful in giving us advice about places to visit and made our trip to Israel much easier in so many ways. We are missing cuddles with Jo Jo and also eating the yummy pastries you gave us in the morning....and any other time we felt hungry. I am sure we are much heavier than when we came to Israel. The room and view were perfect. Can highly recommend this B & B to all who wish to visit. Love and hugs Lesley and Menny. See you in Australia sometime. You are like family now.
It was very very nice stay by Lesley and manny. We hope we will see you soon in Germany!
Once you find the place (not easy!), you will really enjoy it. Lesley is a great host and the view from the house is really stunning.
Great breakfast with home-made jams and croissants baked by Lesley's husband who (rightfully) claims he does the best croissants in Israel.
The place is close to many spots to be seen in Galilee (Mount Tabor, Tiberias...). Lesley will tell you.
We did a one-day trip to the Golan Heights, that was really worth the while.
I originate from England and have lived in Israel 22 years, married to an Israeli. We have a Cafe in Tel Aviv and we love cooking and entertaining. Menny is a chef and his speciality is bread, but is also an excellent pastry chef, I work with him and we send all our goods to the Cafe in Tel Aviv. We also love making cheeses, especially from goats milk which we get from the farm still warm. We lived many years in Tel Aviv but love the laid back way of life Yavneel has to offer and the fact that we can get our produce from the farms mostly organic. We don't have a lot of time for hobbies but we are great animal lovers and as for reading books well you wont be short of a recipe book to read we have most chefs on our shelves with a bit of spirituality thrown in for good measure.
