Thanks Adam, I love the name "secret garden" - so fitting! And hearing that guests get out and explore the neighborhood - there's so much to see and do within a short walk, and it makes me happy when people take it all in.

Response from David:

Kathleen I'm so glad you enjoyed our little place & found as much joy as I do in the courtyard and the surrounding neighborhood! I miss living there with so much to see and do, not to mention being able to commute by foot to work downtown. It's a bit small for all our stuff now but I've thought about moving back once my kids are grown and out of the nest. And if you do return to share your Seattle experience with your husband and kids we'd love to welcome you back, anytime!
