  • Roseanne is a fantastic host - prompt, friendly, easy-going and thinks of all the little extra touches. From a comfy mattress, extra blanket to keep warm and a torch in the tent, to a lovely easy breakfast and use of her gorgeous kitchen and bathroom. A great spot!

    Response from Rosanne:

Thank you Vanessa it was lovely to meet you

  • I had a wonderful time staying in the tent in Rosannes garden for three nights. The matress and blanket were really cosy and kept me warm during the rather cold nights. Rose is a very caring and considerate host and her uncomplicated manner made me feel at home from the start. I could use all the facilities in the house, which is a beautiful and tidy place and a comfortable home to everyone who stays there, including Roses lovely pets. If you are not a tent person, Rose also rents out rooms. I can only recommend this place for any stay of any length. Have a great time there!

  • Rosanne's tent is a great cheap option for a stay in Hobart. The tent and bedding are comfortable and there's use of the essential parts of the home. Conveniently, there's close access to transport and shops. Rosanne thoughtfully lays out a lovely breakfast and provides information on things to do and Hobart's transport system.

  • Thank you for having me in your tent Rose. It was by far the most comfortable tent Iv'e ever stayed in. The mattress and bedding were great quality. The breakfast, local knowledge and shower were all great! The fact that I didn't have to wait long for a bus into Hobart was great. I'd definitely recommend Rose's place to anyone. Cheaper and a lot nicer than any of the hostels I was looking at. Thanks again Rose.

  • I had a lovely time sleeping in Rosanne's tent! You have full access to the lovely house which is very clean. Rose laid out breakie for me everyday (cereal and toast) which was lovely. I really enjoyed playing with the cat, dog and rabbit who also live in the house. They were very friendly! This really is a bargain and with the bus stop right outside it's very convenient, 10 minutes and $3 and you're in town. Not to mention Rose is lovely - thank you for being a great host!

Hi, my name is Rosanne, however most people call me Rose. I am based in Tasmania, but love to travel, South of France being one of my favourite destinations. I am also in love with the buzz of big asian cities like Hong Kong. We enjoy love hosting people from around the world. Previously I was involved in the homestay program hosting O/S students which has been a great for both my son and myself. I look forward to sharing a little bit of our paradise called Tasmania
